• Back to baseball work
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Sunday that LeMahieu (foot) recently resumed hitting but that the veteran infielder may not be "that close to being ready for rehab [games]," Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The 35-year-old was shut down for a week in late April after he experienced swelling in his foot during a rehab game, and he's now back to taking part in baseball activities. It's an encouraging development following the setback, but LeMahieu still has some work to do in his recovery before again being cleared for minor-league action. Rotowire.com 10 minutes ago

  • Bryan Ramos drives in run in win over Cardinals
Bryan Ramos went 1-for-3 and drove in a run as the White Sox topped the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.

Advice: The 22-year-old infielder picked up his first career RBI on a sacrifice fly in the second inning. He also notched his first career hit with a single in the seventh inning and came around to score on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Robbie Grossman. He’s unlikely to provide much of an impact from a fantasy perspective in a part-time role for the White Sox. Rotoworld 28 minutes ago

  • Ready to go Sunday
Bohm (hip) is starting at third base and batting fifth Sunday against the Giants, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Advice: The 27-year-old was removed from Saturday's contest due to right hip tightness but is back in the starting nine a day later. Bohm has been one of the best hitters in baseball through the first five weeks of the season with a .364/.435/.579 slash line in 34 games. Rotowire.com Today, 1:11 pm

  • Eguy Rosario sent back to Triple-A by Padres
Padres optioned INF Eguy Rosario to Triple-A El Paso.

Advice: Rosario hasn’t seen much playing time, and the infielder will head to Triple-A to likely see more consistent at-bats. Donovan Solano is up to take Rosario’s place on the roster. Rotoworld Today, 12:41 pm
  • Sent to Triple-A
Rosario was optioned to Triple-A El Paso on Sunday.

Advice: Rosario hadn't made a start since April 29 and will now head down to the minors. The Padres selected the contract of Donovan Solano from El Paso in a corresponding move. Rotowire.com Today, 12:38 pm
  • Sitting against lefty
Muncy is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Advice: The 33-year-old launched three homers in Saturday's contest but will still sit Sunday as lefty Max Fried pitches for Atlanta. According to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times, manager Dave Roberts said Muncy's absence was planned prior to Saturday's contest, and the third baseman is expected to play in the next six contests. • Exiting starting nine Sunday
Davis is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: Following a stint on the 10-day injured list due to an adductor strain, Davis was activated Friday and had started at first base in both of his first two games back in action, going 2-for-7 with a run scored between those contests. The Athletics haven't indicated that Davis suffered a setback in his recovery from the injury, so his absence Sunday is presumably a pre-planned maintenance day. Rotowire.com Today, 12:01 pm

  • Emerging as primary DH
Wisdom will serve as the Cubs' designated hitter and No. 7 batter in Sunday's game against the Brewers.

Advice: Wisdom is starting at DH for the third time in four games, and he looks like the role will be his for the taking for the time being after the Cubs optioned Matt Mervis to Triple-A Iowa on Saturday. He should have an opportunity to see steady playing time until the Cubs get at least one of Seiya Suzuki (oblique) or Cody Bellinger (ribs) back from the injured list. Rotowire.com Today, 11:32 am

  • Jeimer Candelario (shin) scratched from lineup
Jeimer Candelario has been scratched from the lineup Sunday with a bruised left shin.

Advice: Candelario fouled a ball off his shin Saturday, and the Reds will give the 30-year-old a day of rest as a precaution. Santiago Espinal is now starting in Candelario’s absence. He should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Today, 11:28 am
