    • Juan Soto homers, doubles against former club
Juan Soto homered and doubled in the Yankees’ 8-0 rout of the Padres on Friday.

Advice: Revenge game? Soto was facing his former club, and he kept doing what he’s done for the overwhelming majority of 2024. The 25-year-old scorched one of four homers Yu Darvish gave up on the evening, and he’s gone deep 14 times in his first year in New York. Soto also doubled and walked, and any questions about how he’d handle the pressure of New York have been answered with a resounding “pretty easily.” Rotoworld Friday, 9:26 pm

    • Slugs 12th homer
Stanton went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Thursday's 5-0 win against Seattle.

Advice: Stanton crushed a 445-foot solo shot to center field in the second inning to plate the first run of the contest. The homer was his 12th of the campaign, half of which have come over his past 14 contests. Over that span, Stanton is slashing .288/.327/.673 with nine RBI and seven runs in addition to the six homers. Rotowire.com Friday, 11:57 am
    • Giancarlo Stanton scorches homer in win over Mariners
Giancarlo Stanton swatted a solo homer and drew a walk in a win over the Mariners on Thursday.

Advice: Stanton absolutely blistered a Luis Castillo offering into Monument Park to give New York a 1-0 lead. The 6-foot-6 power bat has gone deep 12 times in 2024, and he’s up to 27 RBI with the roundtripper. Rotoworld Thursday, 12:22 pm
    • Another two-homer game
Soto went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Mariners.

Advice: This was Soto's second multi-homer game in the last five contests. He's gone 8-for-19 (.421) with six RBI and seven runs scored over that span. The star outfielder continues to fit right in with the Yankees, slashing .313/.409/.569 with 13 homers, 40 RBI, 37 runs scored, four stolen bases, nine doubles and a triple over his first 51 games with the team. • Juan Soto homers twice in win
Juan Soto went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI as the Yankees defeated the Mariners 7-3 on Wednesday.

Advice: It has been a magical first season in the Bronx for Soto who heard “MVP” chants after his second big fly. He’s been every bit as advertised for the Yankees and fantasy managers alike with a .313/.409/.978 slash line and 13 homers so far this season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:13 pm

    • Finds power in win
Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Angels.

Advice: Alvarez went back-to-back with Kyle Tucker in the first inning for his first home run since May 9. After slumping a bit earlier this month, his bat has heated back up. Alvarez now has at least a hit in 10 of his last 12 games and is slashing .340/.404/.553 with three RBI, seven runs and a 5:11 BB:K over that span. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:36 am
    • Cleared for batting practice
Conforto (hamstring) has been cleared to take on-field batting practice, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Conforto landed on the 10-day injured list just over a week ago a right hamstring strain. Taking batting practice is certainly a positive step in his recovery, although running will be a bigger hurdle for him to clear and it's uncertain when he might be ready for that. Conforto is eligible for activation Wednesday, but it would appear he'll need a little more time than that. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 2:02 pm

    • Not in Tuesday's lineup
Stanton is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.

Advice: Stanton started the previous four games and will sit Tuesday after he went 5-for-15 with two doubles and two homers during that span. Aaron Judge will rest his legs as the designated hitter while Trent Grisham starts in center field. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:54 pm
    • Michael Conforto (hamstring) resumes hitting
Michael Conforto (hamstring) has resumed hitting.

Advice: Conforto is expected to ramp up his running progression this week as he continues to recover from a right hamstring strain that sent him to the injured list back on May 12. The 31-year-old slugger, who was off to a really strong start this season, should be ready to return in late May or early June. Rotoworld Tuesday, 1:51 pm
