      Advice: Ryan delivered an outstanding performance on Sunday afternoon at T-Mobile Park, generating 16 swinging strikes -- including 11 on his four-seam fastball alone -- and finished with a near-elite 36 percent CSW. He gave up six hits and didn’t hand out a free pass, although he did hit a pair of batters as well.       Luis Castillo struck out three and allowed three runs over five innings on Sunday in a no-decision against the Twins.

      Advice: What a mess. Castillo was forced to grab a bat, and struck out looking in the fourth inning, after Seattle lost the designated hitter earlier in the contest when Mitch Haniger left the game following a hit by pitch. The 31-year-old righty was simply outdueled by Twins starter Joe Ryan, who limited the Mariners to just a pair of runs into the sixth inning before the bullpen took over and pretty much shut things down completely from there on out.     • Christian Walker plates two in victory over A’s
      Christian Walker went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI on Sunday, propelling the Diamondbacks to a 5-1 win over the Athletics.

      Advice: Walker kicked off the scoring in the fourth inning with a run-scoring single against Oakland starter Luis Medina before extending Arizona’s lead a couple frames later with another run-scoring single as part of a three-hit effort. The 33-year-old veteran first baseman remains a reliable source of over-the-fence pop and counting stats as he’s up to 17 homers and 53 RBI this season leading up to the All-Star break.       Advice: Tovar’s RBI single in the 13th inning temporarily gave the Rockies a 4-3 lead in a game Colorado would eventually win 5-4 in 14 innings.       Lugo (11-2) picked up the win Sunday against Cleveland, allowing four hits and one walk while striking out 10 over six scoreless innings.

      Advice: Lugo was dominant Sunday, throwing 66 of his 93 pitches for strikes en route to 10 strikeouts. The 34-year-old logged his fourth-consecutive quality start and his 14th of the season, tied for first in the MLB. Over his past four starts, the right-hander has registered a robust 1.46 ERA, a 1.01 WHIP and a 30:7 K:BB over 24.2 innings.       Waldron (5-7) took the loss Sunday against the Red Sox. He gave up four runs (three earned) on six hits, one walk and three strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

      Advice: Waldron was plagued by the long ball, as he allowed two homers in a start for the first time this season. He snapped a streak of nine straight starts in which he allowed two runs or fewer.       Seth Lugo threw six shutout innings and got the win in the Royals’ 6-2 victory over the Guardians on Sunday.



      Advice: Lugo gave up four hits, walked one and struck out 10. The win was his 11th of the season. It was another excellent start for Lugo, who lowered his ERA to 2.17 on the season with the effort. The 34-year-old right-hander is set to face the Rockies on the road next weekend.

      Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer on Sunday against the Blue Jays.
