      Diaz went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's 7-1 win over the Angels.

      Advice: Diaz opened the scoring with an RBI single in the first inning and added a two-run homer in the seventh. He's gone yard in four straight contests, an impressive run of power after he went 39 games without a homer prior to this surge. The catcher is at a .258/.285/.416 slash line, seven long balls, 32 RBI, 22 runs scored and 10 doubles over 56 contests.       Connor Joe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Twins on Friday.

      Advice: The home run was Joe’s seventh of the year. He’s up to .270 with a .792 OPS on the season. While he’s seen regular playing time this year, he’s certainly proven to be better against left-handed pitching once again.     • Keller stellar again, picks up eighth win Friday
      Mitch Keller threw six shutout innings and got the win in the Pirates’ 3-0 victory over the Twins on Friday.



      Advice: Keller gave up seven hits, walked two and struck out eight. The win was his eighth of the season. Keller has now won six starts in a row and all of them have been quality starts. His ERA is 1.13 over his last six starts with a .226 average allowed. Keller now has a 3.16 ERA and SO:BB of 74:22 in 13 starts this year. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cardinals on the road next week.

Manager Brandon Hyde said Thursday that Bradish's start wasn't pushed back due to health concerns, so he should be a full go Saturday. The right-hander has hit all the necessary markers in his recovery so far but has many more to go.       Advice: After needing 78 pitches to get through three frames, Buehler didn't come out for the fourth, marking the 29-year-old's shortest start of 2024. He surrendered a two-run home run to Nick Gonzales in the third inning, the right-hander's seventh long ball allowed in 28.0 innings. Buehler's been shaky since returning from Tommy John surgery, yielding exactly three runs in five of his six starts this season to fuel a 4.82 ERA.
