    • Cronenworth has double, RBI against Marlins Monday
Jake Cronenworth went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double and an RBI against the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: Cronenworth’s bases-loaded walk in the seventh inning was the difference in the Padres’ 2-1 victory over the Marlins. He continues to play second base after the Padres’ trade for Luis Arraez. Cronenworth’s average is up to .271 and his OPS is up to .806, both of which would be career-highs. Rotoworld Monday, 6:33 pm
    • Jarren Duran goes 0-for-5 in loss to Orioles
Jarren Duran went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts on Monday in the Red Sox’ loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Duran has been mired in a little bit of a funk lately, batting .233 (7-for-30) with one homer and one steal over his last seven contests. It’s an extremely small sample size, but if we frame out a bit more, he’s hitting .262 (32-for-122) with just two homers and three steals over his last 30 contests. The 27-year-old has shown glimpses of immense fantasy potential as a power/speed combo threat, but it hasn’t quite come together completely this season as he sits at only three homers and 11 steals through Memorial Day. • Hurt by home runs
Assad (4-1) took the loss Sunday against the Cardinals, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out eight over five innings.

Advice: Assad's final run line could've looked a lot better had it not been for two mistakes thrown to Paul Goldschmidt. He served up nearly identical two-run homers to Goldschmidt in the third and fifth innings to give the Cardinals a lead they would never relinquish. Assad has now allowed multiple home runs in back-to-back starts while also walking eight batters over that span. The one positive to take away from Sunday's outing is he was able to tie his career-high with eight strikeouts and has 19 strikeouts over his last 15.2 innings. Assad will carry a 2.17 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 54:23 K:BB into his next matchup against the Reds this weekend. Rotowire.com Monday, 5:22 am

    • Blasts pair of home runs
Happ went 2-for-3 with two home runs, a walk and three RBI in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Happ's two home runs were the only source of offense for the Cubs in Sunday's loss. He first had a two-run shot off Andrew Kittredge in the seventh before following that up with a solo blast against Ryan Helsley in the ninth. Happ doubled his home run total on the season and put together his first multiple RBI effort since April 16. He now has six hits over his last five games but is still slashing just .224/.335/.362 with 15 extra-base hits, 17 RBI, 25 runs and a 27:57 BB:K in 203 plate appearances. • Ian Happ homers twice as Cubs fall to Cardinals
Ian Happ blasted a pair of home runs on Sunday night and drove in three, but it wasn’t enough to power the Cubs to victory over the Cardinals in St. Louis.

Advice: Happ finally got the Cubs on the board with his 409-foot (107.1 mph EV) two-run shot off of right-hander Andrew Kittredge in the seventh inning. He then led off the ninth inning with a 425-foot (107.1 mph EV) solo shot off of Ryan Helsley that pulled the Cubs to within a run at 4-3. That would be as close as they would get. On the season, the 29-year-old outfielder is now hitting .224/.335/.362 with just four homers and 17 RBI. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:20 pm

    • Javier Assad serves up two homers in loss Sunday
Javier Assad wasn’t at his best in Sunday night’s loss to the Cardinals, giving up four runs on five hits over his five innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander piled up eight strikeouts on the night while issuing three free passes. All of the damage done against him came on two bad pitches, that Paul Goldschmidt pulverized for a pair of two-run homers — one in the third inning and another in the fifth. Assad got seven swings and misses on 81 pitches on the night, registering a strong CSW of 35 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he carries his impressive 2.17 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and a 54/23 K/BB ratio (58 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Reds. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:20 pm

    • Improves to 5-0
Blanco (5-0) allowed a run on four hits and a walk over seven innings Sunday, striking out six and earning a win over the Athletics.

Advice: Blanco fired five scoreless frames before coughing up a solo shot to Max Schuemann in the sixth inning. It was Blanco's first start since May 14 after serving a suspension for using a foreign substance. He forced 17 swinging strikes, including seven with his slider. It was the third time in nine starts that he's reached that number. Blanco lowered his ERA to a stellar 1.99 with a 51:22 K:BB through 54.1 frames. His next start is projected to be at home against the Twins. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:56 pm

    • Ronel Blanco returns with stellar start in win
Ronel Blanco allowed just one run on four hits in seven innings in a win over the A’s on Sunday.

Advice: Blanco struck out six and walked one, allowing just a solo home run to Max Schuemann in his outing. He induced 17 whiffs for a 31 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW. He got right back to doing what he was doing after his controversial suspension, and he now has a 1.99 ERA on the season to go along with a 5-0 record. He has a tougher test against the Twins next week but should be started against pretty much every offense right now while he’s pitching like this. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:05 pm

    • Goes deep again
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Angels.

Advice: Ramirez is 12-for-33 (.364) with six homers and 14 RBI over his last eight games. He's also leading the majors with 51 RBI thanks to his recent surge. The third baseman hasn't reached the 30-homer mark in either of the last two seasons, but he's halfway there now with 15 through 51 contests, to go with a hearty .267/.314/.539 slash line, 35 runs scored, seven stolen bases, nine doubles and a triple.
