    • Day off versus left-hander
Naylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.

Advice: The Mets are starting left-hander Jose Quintana and the two teams are concluding the series with a day game after a night game, so it's a sensible spot for Guardians manager Stephen Vogt to give the left-handed-hitting Naylor a breather. David Fry will start at first base Wednesday in Naylor's stead. Rotowire.com 50 minutes ago

    • Steals home, goes yard
Duran went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a steal of home base during Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: The Red Sox executed a first-and-third double-steal perfectly in the eighth inning, as the throw to second to catch Rafael Devers stealing was cut off early and returned to home wasn't in time to tag the speedy Duran. Duran has hit safely in seven straight games, batting 10-for-27 (.370) with a pair of triples, solo home runs and stolen bases during that stretch. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:45 pm
    • Homer, steal in extra-inning loss
Harris went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Harris started May in a dreadful 0-for-26 slump, but he's snapped out of it by going 10-for-39 (.256) with two homers, two steals, four RBI and three runs scored over his last 10 contests. The outfielder is slashing .250/.289/.378 with five homers, seven steals, 17 RBI and 19 runs scored through 45 games this season. Harris hit over .290 and flirted with 20-20 years in each of his first two big-league campaigns, so there's still another level he can get back to as he rebounds from his slump. • Oneil Cruz sets Statcast record on 3 hits in win
Oneil Cruz went 3-for-5 with one RBI in a win over the Giants on Tuesday.

Advice: All three of Cruz’s hits were blasted with a 121.5 mph double, a 120.4 mph single, and a 116.3 mph double. He’s now the first player in the Statcast era to have three hits in one game over 115 mph, and his 121.5 mph double is the hardest-hit ball in MLB action this year, topping the 120.4 mph single he hit earlier in the game today. That’s quite a performance. Cruz is 19-for-64 (.297) in May with four home runs, 10 runs scored, and 11 RBI. He does have 18 strikeouts in 16 games, but his production has certainly started to tick up and if stolen bases follow, we could see a full breakout. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:24 pm

    • José Ramirez has two hits, HR in win over Mets
José Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a win over the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Ramirez’s home run was a 380-foot shot off Adrian Houser at 101.5 mph off the bat for his 12th big fly of the season. He also added a two-out RBI double to give him 44 RBI on the season. The batting average may not be what fantasy managers are hoping for, but Ramirez is hitting the ball well and should be back to something resembling his usual triple slash in no time. • Homer, three RBI in win
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an RBI double in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Mets.

Advice: Ramirez extended Cleveland's lead to 3-0 in the third inning with a two-out double before cranking a two-run homer off Adrian Houser in the fifth, the slugger's 12th of the year. The 31-year-old Ramirez has gone 12-for-32 (.375) with three home runs and 13 RBI in his last eight contests. His slash line is up to .258/.305/.495 with 44 RBI, 31 runs scored and seven stolen bases through 210 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:33 pm

    • Jarren Duran homers, steals home vs. Rays
Jarren Duran went 1-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored in Tuesday’s win over the Rays.

Advice: Duran hit his third homer of the season in the sixth inning to tie the game at 2-2. In the top of the eighth inning, Durran caught the defense sleeping when he stole home after Rays catcher Ben Rortvedt threw down to second to try and catch Rafael Devers stealing. The Red Sox left fielder has now hit safely in seven straight games and is hitting .278 in the month of May.

    • Willson Contreras optimistic on earlier return
Willson Contreras (fractured forearm) has already had his cast removed.

Advice: The exact date is uncertain, but Contreras has been cast-less since at least last Friday, May 17. It may have been as early as May 11. “I’m really happy with how the process is going and how well I’m recovering,” Contreras said late last week. “The way I feel, I could say, it’s not going to be (until) the All-Star break. It could be earlier than that. I’m not going to say something that is going to get above the doctors’ opinion, but if you’re asking me how I’m feeling, I’m feeling great.” The Cardinals have yet to comment on Contreras potentially beating his All-Star week return projection, but it is now definitely within the realm of possibility. • Taking seat Tuesday
Haniger is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: The 33-year-old won't start for the second time in the last four games, leaving Dominic Canzone in right field Tuesday. Haniger has generated a hit in each of his last five starts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:13 pm
