      Cowser went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 10-8 loss to the Guardians.

      Advice: Cowser has gone a modest 11-for-61 (.180) over 22 contests while seeing a part-time role in June. Five of his hits this month have gone for extra bases, and he's up to 10 homers on the year after Tuesday's long ball. He's slashing just .226/.317/.429 with 32 RBI, 29 runs scored and five stolen bases. Anthony Santander is about the only constant in the Orioles' outfield, leaving Cowser to compete with Cedric Mullins, Austin Hays and Heston Kjerstad for two positions on a regular basis.       Castillo (6-9) took the loss against the Rays on Tuesday, allowing four runs on five hits and four walks with four strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

      Advice: Castillo surrendered a leadoff home run to Yandy Diaz in the first inning and an RBI single to Jose Siri in the second. He responded with three scoreless frames but was pulled after walking two batters in the sixth. Both baserunners scored, resulting in the third time Castillo has yielded at least four earned runs in June.       Ramirez went 2-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in a 10-8 win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

      Advice: Ramirez double and scored in the first inning and hit a three-run home run in the fourth. It was the third baseman's second straight game with a homer and fifth multi-hit effort since June 18.       Skubal (9-3) tossed seven scoreless innings to earn the win Tuesday against the Phillies. He allowed three hits and a walk while striking out seven.

      Advice: Skubal came into Tuesday in a bit of a slump, as he had allowed nine runs (eight earned) across 10.1 total innings in his previous two starts, which were both losses. The lefty got back on track in a big way, however, with a dominant performance against a tough Philadelphia lineup. It was the sixth time this season that Skubal didn't allow any runs in an outing, which is a big reason why he's sitting with a 2.32 ERA, good for fourth in the majors. Detroit's ace is having an outstanding year, and he'll look to keep rolling in his next scheduled appearance, which is tentatively set for next Tuesday against the Twins.       Bryan Reynolds went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 9-5 win over the Reds on Sunday.

      Advice: Reynolds homered off Hunter Greene in the first inning in an at-bat that started with Greene puking on the mound. Reynolds later crushed a 426-foot shot at 106.3 mph for his 13th home run of the season to go along with 46 RBI and a .280/.347/.475 slash line.     • Brayan Bello shellacked in loss to Blue Jays
      Brayan Bello allowed seven runs on five hits in 2 1/3 innings in a loss to the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

      Advice: Bello held the Blue Jays scoreless for the first two innings, but the wheels fell off in a big way in the third inning. The first six batters of the inning reached before Bello could get a groundout, but then a home run to George Springer chased him from the game. The right-hander did get six whiffs on 20 swings in his limited time but he threw on 42 percent of his pitches in the strike zone and had no feel for anything on the night. After a strong start to the season, Bello has struggled over his final seven starts, and the loss of feel for his changeup, which has been his primary pitch in his young career, is concerning.     • Luis Castillo chased in 6th in loss to Rays
      Luis Castillo allowed four runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

      Advice: The Mariners ace struck out four and walked four on the day. He wasn’t sharp, with just a 44 percent zone rate on the day, but he had kept it together until the sixth inning. With the game tied at two, Castillo got one quick out but walked the next two hitters and was chased from the game. Michael Baumann then allowed a triple and a home run to bring in both inherited runners. Castillo had nine whiffs on 44 swings for a 20 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW on the day. We can probably chalk this up to a poor start, but it’s his second straight one so we’d like to see him right the ship next time out. The only problem is that the start comes against the Orioles.       José Ramírez went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer on Tuesday, lifting the Guardians to a 10-8 win over the Orioles.

      Advice: Ramírez clobbered a three-run shot in the fourth inning to give Cleveland a commanding four-run advantage at the time. The 31-year-old fantasy star has gone deep three times over his last four games and is now up to 21 round-trippers this season already.       Tarik Skubal recorded seven strikeouts over seven scoreless innings on Tuesday in a win over the Phillies.

      Advice: Skubal retired 13 of the final 14 batters he faced in a dominant performance at Comerica Park against a red-hot Phillies lineup. He generated an absurd 19 swinging strikes, including 11 on his changeup alone, and needed just 91 pitches (64 strikes) to navigate seven shutout frames. It was a much-needed rebound for the 27-year-old southpaw after allowing nine runs (eight earned) over his previous two starts against the Braves and Astros, respectively.
