      Advice: Yelich took Kyle Hendricks deep in the fourth inning as part of a seven-run frame for the Brewers. The 32-year-old outfielder has underwhelmed in the power department with just eight home runs, but he has batted .321 (99th percentile) while racking up 18 steals in 19 attempts across 58 games this season.       Paul Sewald struck out two in a perfect ninth inning on Sunday against the Athletics.

      Advice: It was a non-save situation, with Arizona leading by four runs entering the final frame, but Sewald remained locked-in nonetheless, needing just 13 pitches (11 strikes) to end the game. The 34-year-old righty has reeled off 17 consecutive scoreless appearances since giving up one run back on May 7 in his season debut. He’s converted all 11 of his save chances this season and boasts a microscopic 0.54 ERA, 0.48 QHIP and 15/3 K/BB ratio across 16 2/3 innings (18 appearances).     • Big Maple gets lit up Sunday in loss to Giants
      James Paxton was torched for nine runs on 12 hits over four innings on Sunday in a loss to the Giants.

      Advice: Paxton gave up a couple early runs before the metaphorical wheels came off completely in the fourth inning when he was obliterated for five runs on four hits, including a two-run homer by Matt Chapman, and one free pass. The dozen hits allowed were a career-high for Paxton, who struck out four and handed out a pair of walks as well. The 35-year-old southpaw had allowed just two runs combined across 16 innings of work over his previous three starts dating back to June 11. He’ll attempt to right the ship when he faces the Brewers on Saturday in his penultimate outing prior to the All-Star break. Rotoworld Today, 3:34 pm
       
    • Blasts 10th home run
      Bohm went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Marlins.

      Advice: He continues to rake in June with five home runs and 20 RBI in 24 games this month. Bohm was 1-for-16 in his last four games and got back on track, blasting his 10th homer on Sunday. The fifth-year breakout continues for Bohm, who now has 68 RBI this season, the third-most in the MLB.     • Yelich pops eighth home run in win Sunday
      Christian Yelich went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run against the Cubs on Sunday.



      Advice: The home run was Yelich’s eighth of the year. His power isn’t what it was earlier in his career. Yelich has a .166 ISO on the season and hasn’t had at least a .200 ISO since 2020. It’s always nice to see him pop a home run even if it was off Kyle Hendricks. Yelich is hitting .321 with an .885 OPS and 36 RBI this year.

    • Randy Arozarena homers in win
      Randy Arozarena went 2-for-4 with a solo home run on Sunday against the Nationals.

      Advice: Arozarena has been trending up of late and this game may have been the exclamation point on his return to self. He has a hit in 12 of his last 14 games and on Sunday became the fifth player this season to hit four balls at least 105 MPH in the same game joining Yordan Alvarez, Juan Soto, Ketel Marte, and Gunnar Henderson.       Soto (hand) will start in right field and bat second Sunday against the Blue Jays.

      Advice: The 25-year-old was originally slated to sit Sunday and said he may undergo an MRI or CT scan Monday when the Yankees are back in New York, so his late addition to the lineup is a major surprise. It's unclear if Soto will still require any of the medical imaging, but he's apparently feeling well enough to play despite experiencing some pain and weakness in his bruised right hand Saturday.       Juan Soto (hand) is back in the starting lineup and hitting second while playing right field against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

      Advice: Soto was originally not in the lineup, but the 25-year-old is feeling well enough to get back out there after missing Saturday’s contest with a contusion in his hand.       Gabriel Moreno (thumb) could be activated off the injured list as as soon as Tuesday, Jody Jackson of the Diamondbacks reports.

      Advice: Moreno was placed on the injured list last Saturday with a sprained left thumb, and he’ll be eligible for activation Tuesday. The 24-year-old may get a couple extra days, but the Diamondbacks already announced they don’t believe he needs a rehab assignment, so it would take something unforeseeable for him not to be back before the middle of the week.
