    • Homers in Wednesday's win
Semien went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Semien's fifth-inning blast was ultimately all the run support Jon Gray needed to carry the Rangers to a win. Through 15 games in May, Semien is 21-for-68 (.309) with three homers, 11 RBI and 12 runs scored. The second baseman has just one stolen base on the year after reaching double-digits in each of the previous eight full-length seasons, but the rest of his numbers are strong. Semien is at a .276/.320/.464 slash line with eight homers, 31 RBI, 33 runs scored, 10 doubles and a triple of 206 plate appearances on the year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:50 pm
    • Logan Webb shuts down Dodgers over six in win
Logan Webb tossed sixth scoreless innings with five strikeouts in a win over the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Advice: Webb worked around some trouble to start the game, loading the bases with one out in the first inning. He struck out a batter for the second out and escaped the jam with a line out to right field. Webb scattered two walks and two hits over five more scoreless frames, striking out five on the day. The 27-year-old right-hander will take a 3.03 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and a 47/17 K/BB ratio across 59 1/3 innings into a start against the Pirates in Pittsburgh next Wednesday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:13 pm
    • Lowers ERA to 1.37
Suarez (8-0) earned the win over the Mets on Wednesday, allowing two unearned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three batters over five innings.

Advice: Suarez allowed a run in each of the first and third frames, but neither run was earned. The left-hander thus lowered his season ERA to 1.37, third-best in the majors among qualified starters. Suarez also leads the league with eight victories and a 0.76 WHIP, and he has yet to take a loss. He's among the early contenders for Cy Young consideration in the National League and has been one of fantasy's most impactful sleepers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:56 pm
    • Marcus Semien blasts two-run homer in win
Marcus Semien went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer on Wednesday against the Guardians.

Advice: With the game scoreless through four innings, Semien put the Rangers on the board with a two-run blast off Carlos Carrasco in the fifth. It was the eighth home run of the season for the 33-year-old second baseman. Semien is hitting .276/.320/.464 with 33 runs scored, 31 RBI, and one steal across 206 plate appearances. Lack of steals aside, he continues to be one of the top producers at the keystone. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:40 pm
    • Ranger Suárez earns win vs. Mets
Ranger Suárez fought for the win in what was his worst start in weeks. He lasted five innings, walked two, and struck out three in a win over the Mets Wednesday night. Both runs he allowed were unearned.

Advice: This felt more like the Ranger Suárez of old, nibbling around the zone and unable to put many away. He was able to work out of trouble effectively as the Mets had men on base in four out of five innings and could not start a rally. Suárez’s step forward this season should still be seen as legitimate, but keep an eye on his command as he fell behind 1-0 to 16 of the 33 hitters he faced. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:53 pm
    • Day off Wednesday
Gorman isn't in the Cardinals' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Gorman will get a day to clear his head after striking out four times during Tuesday's win over the Halos. Brendan Donovan will fill in at the keystone Wednesday while Alec Burleson, Mike Siani and Lars Nootbaar start across the outfield. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:44 pm

    • Nico Hoerner (hamstring) remains out of lineup
Nico Hoerner (hamstring) remains out of the Cubs’ starting lineup for Wednesday’s ballgame against the Braves.

Advice: The 27-year-old infielder was scratched from Tuesday’s lineup due to tightness in his left hamstring, and he’ll get an additional day off on Wednesday to rest as well. Miles Mastrobuoni will start in his place at shortstop and bat sixth for the Cubs against Charlie Morton and the Braves on Wednesday evening in Atlanta. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:35 pm

    • Held out again Wednesday
Hoerner (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Atlanta, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: Hoerner was a late scratch ahead of Tuesday's 7-0 loss with left hamstring tightness and still isn't feeling up to playing. Hamstring injuries are notoriously tricky, but the Cubs haven't indicated at this point that Hoerner will require a stint on the injured list. Miles Mastrobuoni will again fill in at shortstop. • Ronald Acuña Jr. not in Braves lineup on Wednesday
Ronald Acuña Jr. is not in the Braves’ starting lineup for Wednesday night’s showdown against the Cubs.

Advice: It looks to be nothing more than a routine day of rest for the 26-year-old superstar. Michael Harris II will move up to the leadoff spot in the Braves’ order while Adam Duvall will draw a rare start against a right-hander and will bat sixth against Javier Assad and the Cubs on Wednesday evening in Atlanta.
