• Connects for first homer of 2024
Duran went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss to the Twins.

Advice: Duran finally got on the board with his first long ball of the season, though that wasn't enough to save him from being lifted for a defensive replacement (Travis Jankowski) later in the game. While Duran now has a .284 batting average, he has just a .683 OPS, and his playing time has been trending downward. The 25-year-old had been in the starting lineup for just two of the Rangers' last six games entering Saturday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:37 pm

  • Burger has three-hit game in loss Saturday
Jake Burger went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored against the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Advice: Burger hit .250 with 34 home runs last year. With the three hits on Saturday, his average is up to a paltry .194 on the season. While Burger doesn’t have a track record outside of last season, his career BABIP is .282 and his BABIP this year is much lower at .217. Burger is even striking out at a much lower rate this year with a 22 percent strikeout percentage compared to his career 28 percent strikeout percentage. His batting average should normalize eventually, which makes him a decent buy-low candidate. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:13 pm

  • Puts game out of reach
Harper went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Harper hit an RBI single in the first inning and added a three-run homer in the ninth that gave the Phillies all the offense they needed in the win. He's hit safely in 10 of his last 12 games, going 16-for-46 (.348) with four homers and 12 RBI in that span. For the season, the 31-year-old is up to a .282/.389/.554 slash line with 13 homers, 41 RBI, 32 runs scored, three stolen bases and nine doubles over 48 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:07 pm

  • Two hits, steal in win
Brown went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run in a win over the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Brown authored the only multi-hit effort of the contest for Oakland, bouncing right back after seeing a five-game hitting streak snapped in the series opener Friday. The 31-year-old also surpassed last season's stolen-base tally of three with his swipe Saturday, and he's now slashing .209/.254/.351 across 142 plate appearances following his recent uptick at the plate. • Bat finally heating up
Kirilloff went 2-for-4 with a go-ahead three-run homer and an additional run scored in Saturday's victory over the Rangers.

Advice: Kirilloff was hitting just .163 with a .394 OPS from May 1 to May 21, but he has gone 4-for-9 with two home runs in his last three games. He was in such a bad slump that there were concerns he may be hiding an injury, but he's looked fully healthy the past few games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:01 pm

  • Brendan Donovan plates go-ahead run in eighth
Brendan Donovan laced a go-ahead two-run single into left field in the eighth inning on Saturday night, propelling the Cardinals to a 7-6 victory over the Cubs.

Donovan then followed with a two-run single to give the Cardinals the lead, then he scored on an RBI triple off the bat of Lars Nootbaar. Donovan finished the night 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored and is now hitting .233/.311/.368 with four homers and 25 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:18 pm

  • Spencer Steer homers again as Reds top Dodgers
Spencer Steer homered for the second consecutive game on Saturday, helping to power the Reds to a 3-1 victory over the visiting Dodgers.

Advice: Steer got the scoring started in the opening inning on Saturday, crushing a 362-foot (94.9 mph EV) solo shot off of Walker Buehler. That would wind up being his only hit in four at-bats on the night. On the season, the versatile 26-year-old is slashing .227/.341/.403 with six long balls and 35 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:57 pm
