• Nabs win in matinee
Liberatore (1-1) pitched a perfect inning and struck out two batters to earn the win in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Tigers.

Advice: Liberatore bounced back from his first loss of the season Sunday with a clean outing in the eighth inning Tuesday. The Cardinals then rallied ahead in the ninth, and Ryan Helsley closed the door for a save. Liberatore has been solid with a 2.93 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 9:8 K:BB through 15.1 innings over 11 appearances as a multi-inning relief option this season. Tuesday also marked the first time in six appearances he avoided walking a batter. Rotowire.com 4 minutes ago

  • Bryce Jarvis hurls three scoreless in relief
Bryce Jarvis allowed just one hit and no runs over three innings in relief against the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Advice: Jarvis worked the bulk innings after Jordan Montgomery was scratched Tuesday, and he did is job and then some. He was able to land 25-of-41 pitches for strikes with four strikeouts, and he reminded why this was a first-round pick back in 2020. Jarvis will remain a multi-inning reliever without fantasy significance for the time being, but there is talent in that right arm. Rotoworld 13 minutes ago

  • Landon Knack holds D-Backs to one run over five
Landon Knack surrendered just one run while working five innings in a no-decision Tuesday against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Knack’s only run allowed came on a Christian Walker solo homer in the fourth inning. Outside of that the right-hander was solid against the Arizona lineup Tuesday while allowing four hits with a walk and picking up a pair of strikeouts. Knack doesn’t have elite swing-and-miss stuff, but he can throw everything for strikes and keep hitters off balance. There’s a good chance he starts next week against the Marlins, but the Dodgers haven’t yet announced another start for Knack. Rotoworld 13 minutes ago

  • Albies picks up two more hits, RBI in loss to M’s
Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a loss Tuesday to the Mariners.

Advice: Albies has driven in runs in both games against Seattle thus far. The switch-hitting infielder got Atlanta on the board in the eighth with a single to score Jarred Kelenic, and Albies is now up to 18 RBI on the season. That numbers even more impressive when you consider that Albies missed time with his toe injury. Rotoworld 49 minutes ago

  • Jorge Polanco hits two-run homer against Atlanta
Jorge Polanco hit a two-run homer in Seattle’s victory over Atlanta on Tuesday.

Advice: Polanco gave Seattle a 2-0 lead with a homer off Reynaldo López, and it’s the fourth homer of the season for the second baseman. The former Minnesota Twin stalwart has gotten off to a slow start with just a .176 average and .290 slugging mark, but it seems very likely the results will kick into high gear over the next few weeks/months. • Andrés Muñoz gets five-out save against ATL
Andrés Muñoz pitched the final 1 2/3 innings to get a save against Atlanta on Tuesday.

Advice: Muñoz did allow an inherited runner to score with a throwing error. After that snafu the right-hander was absolutely dominant while picking up three strikeouts along with his fifth save of the season. Muñoz does have occasional hiccups with his command, but there aren’t many pitchers in baseball who have better swing-and-miss stuff. Rotoworld 49 minutes ago
  • Reynaldo López allows three over five in loss
Reynaldo López allowed three runs in five innings while picking up a loss Tuesday to the Mariners.

Advice: López allowed six hits over those five frames, and he struck out seven while walking three with Josh Rojas getting all three free passes. The 30-year-old pitched better than his line suggested, but a two-run homer by Jorge Polanco turned an excellent outing into a shaky one from a fantasy perspective. Lopez still has an excellent 1.50 ERA, and he should be in fantasy lineups against Boston next week. Rotoworld 50 minutes ago

  • Luis Castillo blanks Atlanta over seven to get win
Luis Castillo didn’t allow a run in seven innings of work to help the Mariners to a 3-2 win over Atlanta on Tuesday.

Advice: The Seattle pitching staff has been dominant over the past two weeks, and Castillo kept the run going. The 31-year-old ace allowed just three hits with one walk, and he struck out seven in a game where he wasn’t really challenged. Castillo was disappointing in his first three starts, but he’s been anything but over the last three weeks. He’ll face the Twins in Minnesota next week. Rotoworld 50 minutes ago

  • JJ Bleday homers twice in Oakland’s victory
JJ Bleday delivered his second and third homers of the year Tuesday as the A’s topped the Pirates 5-2.

Advice: Bleday’s best game of the season saw him launch balls 417 and 399 feet and improve his season line to .243/.304/.417. He’s not consistently hitting the ball hard enough to inspire a ton of faith, but he’s Oakland’s best center field option for now. Rotoworld 59 minutes ago
