    • Records 15th save
Finnegan picked up the save in a win over Atlanta on Thursday, pitching a scoreless ninth inning while striking out one and issuing a walk.

Advice: Finnegan entered the game with a two-run lead in the ninth and issued a leadoff walk to Ozzie Albies to put himself in an early jam. However, the right-handed reliever was able to retire the next three batters in succession to notch his 15th save of the season. Finnegan now has three scoreless appearances since blowing the save against the Phillies on May 18, posting a 5:1 K:BB over that stretch. He currently has six saves this month to go along with a 0.93 ERA. Rotowire.com Today, 5:54 am
    • Finnegan picks up save against Atlanta on Thursday
Kyle Finnegan fired a scoreless ninth inning to pick up a save Thursday versus Atlanta.

Advice: That’s already the 15th save for Finnegan, who is currently on-pace to procure over 40 of them in 2024. Impressive regardless, but especially when you see the Nationals have only won 26 games. The 32-year-old right-hander also has a 1.64 ERA, so it’s fair to say he’s pitched well in those chances. Finnegan and Hunter Harvey form one of the best end-of-game combinations in the sport. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:00 pm
    • Josh Hader fans two in non-save situation vs. M’s
Josh Hader struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday against the Mariners.

Advice: Hader got the call to protect a four-run advantage in a non-save situation and made things interesting by giving up singles to Julio Rodríguez and Ty France before striking out Dominic Canzone and getting Mitch Haniger to ground out to extinguish the threat. The 30-year-old lefty has allowed just two runs with a 20/4 K/BB ratio across 11 appearances since the start of May. Simply put, he remains one of the few elite closers in the fantasy landscape. • Earns fourth win
Dunning (4-3) earned the win Wednesday over the Diamondbacks, allowing three hits and four walks over five scoreless innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Dunning had to contend with some traffic Wednesday, though he'd manage to keep Arizona off the board for five innings, earning his first win since April 28. It's an encouraging bounce-back effort from Dunning in his second start back from the IL -- he took the loss in his last outing against the Phillies, allowing five runs (three earned) in 3.1 innings. Overall, Dunning lowered his ERA to 3.94 with a 1.20 WHIP and 53:22 K:BB across nine starts (45.2 innings) this year. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with the Tigers in his next start. • Dane Dunning works five scoreless vs. D-backs
Dane Dunning struck out six over five scoreless innings on Wednesday in a win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Pitching on extra rest due to a sinus infection that he dealt with last weekend, Dunning got plenty of run support from the Rangers’ lineup and held Arizona scoreless, scattering three hits and four walks over five frames. The 29-year-old righty has struggled to work deep into outings, pitching into the sixth inning just once over his last seven starts dating back to April 12. He’ll bring a pedestrian 3.94 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 53/22 K/BB ratio across 45 2/3 innings (nine starts) into a favorable home outing on Tuesday against the Tigers. Rotoworld Wednesday, 2:21 pm

    • Secures save Tuesday
Estevez pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Yankees.

Advice: The Angels rallied ahead in the bottom of the eighth inning, and Estevez made the lead stand. The closer has allowed four runs (three earned) over 8.1 innings in May while adding three saves, one blown save and two losses. He's at a 4.76 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 17:3 K:BB over 17 innings this season, but he continues to operate in the closer role despite his shaky pitching. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:45 pm
    • Carlos Estévez notches eighth save against Yankees
Carlos Estévez recorded his eighth save with a flawless ninth Tuesday against the Yankees.

Advice: The rare perfect inning from Estévez pulled his ERA back down to 4.76. He did go without a strikeout for a third straight appearance, but it’s unlikely that anyone with the Angels noticed. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:28 pm
    • Starting Wednesday's game
Dunning will start Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: He's on turn to start Tuesday's series opener, but Dunning will be pushed back a day with Nathan Eovaldi (groin) returning from the injured list. Dunning threw 74 pitches in his first start back from the IL last week versus the Phillies, so he might not quite be fully stretched out for Wednesday's outing. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:54 pm

    • Yields run Sunday
Hader allowed a solo home run and struck out one batter during Sunday's win over Oakland.

Advice: Hader entered a non-save situation and eventually finished off the 5-2 win, but not before coughing up a solo shot to Shea Langeliers. That homer snapped Hader's 8.1-inning scoreless streak and his seven-inning hitless streak. The veteran southpaw owns a 4.13 ERA with a 38:9 K:BB and seven saves this season.
