    • Homers in Sunday's win
Burleson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Burleson is up to nine homers this year, four of which he's hit over nine contests in June. He's batting .237 (9-for-38) this month, but that slight drop in hitting has yet to cost him the everyday role he earned with a strong May. The outfielder is slashing .273/.305/.448 with 24 RBI, 20 runs scored, two stolen bases and seven doubles over 203 plate appearances on the year, and he's routinely batted second in the order over the last week. • Patrick Sandoval gives up five runs against Astros
Patrick Sandoval wasn’t at his best in Sunday’s no-decision against the Astros, surrendering five runs on eight hits over his 5 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The 27-year-old southpaw struck out four batters on the afternoon while issuing three free passes. The Astros got to him for three runs in the third inning on run-scoring hits from Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman and Jeremy Pena. He then gave up a run-scoring double to Jose Abreu before exiting in the sixth, and Abreu ultimately scored as well. Sandoval got nine whiffs on 99 pitches on the day — five on his changeup — while posting an underwhelming CSW of only 19 percent. He’ll carry a disappointing 5.23 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and a 75/31 K/BB ratio (72 1/3 innings) into Saturday’s tilt against the Giants in San Francisco. Rotoworld Today, 4:54 pm

    • Jose Altuve belts 10th homer in loss on Sunday
Jose Altuve went 4-for-5 and belted his 10th home run of the season on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Astros past the Angels in Los Angeles.

Advice: Altuve capped off a four-run rally in the sixth inning with his 406-foot (103.2 mph EV) two-run blast off of Hunter Strickland that extended the Astros’ lead to 7-4. That would be the extent of their scoring though. The 34-year-old second baseman also got the Astros on the board with a run-scoring single in the third inning then scored on an RBI knock by Jeremy Pena. He’s in the midst of another outstanding season at the dish — slashing .297/.348/.454 with 10 homers, 25 RBI and nine stolen bases. Rotoworld Today, 4:54 pm

    • Could return Tuesday
Diaz (right shoulder impingement) pitched a scoreless inning Sunday for High-A Brooklyn and could rejoin the Mets as soon as Tuesday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: A report from earlier in the week suggested Diaz could return Wednesday or Thursday, so this report bumps up his potential return by a day. Catcher Francisco Alvarez (left thumb surgery) is also tracking toward a potential return Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 4:15 pm

    • Smacks go-ahead homer
Freeman went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run during Sunday's 6-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Freeman stepped into the batter's box in the seventh with the score tied 2-2 and delivered a three-run home run on the first pitch from A.J. Puk. The long ball was his sixth and marked the second time he's driven in three batters in a game this season. Freeman is slashing .222/.319/.374 with 35 runs scored across 231 plate appearances. • Tyler Freeman has two hits, HR in win over MIA
Tyler Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a 6-3 win over the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Freeman was hitting second in the order with a left-hander on the mound, which is a nice boost to his fantasy value since he had moved down in the order with both Steven Kwan and Andres Gimenez back. Freeman has just 27 RBI on the season, so being able to stay up in the order in some starts will help his counting stats. He also now has six home runs and eight RBI in his first season as a starter and if his .234 BABIP improves, he could be a .250 hitter moving forward as well. That’s a worthy profile in deeper formats. Rotoworld Today, 2:51 pm

    • Dazzles with 10 Ks
Skubal (8-1) picked up the win Sunday versus Milwaukee, allowing one earned run on five hits and two walks while striking out 10 batters in 6.2 innings.

Advice: Skubal nearly went seven scoreless innings, but he allowed an RBI triple to Brice Turang before being pulled. Skubal dominated the Brewers, inducing 17 swinging strikes and allowing only one extra-base hit, turning in his ninth quality start over his past 10 games. The southpaw has been one of the best pitchers in baseball, compiling a 1.92 ERA and a 0.89 WHIP with 96 strikeouts in 79.2 innings. He is tentatively scheduled for a road start in Houston next weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 1:43 pm

    • Tarik Skubal strikes out 10 in defeating Brewers
Tarik Skubal fanned 10 while limiting the Brewers to one run in 6 2/3 innings in the Tigers’ 10-2 victory Sunday.

Advice: Skubal hit a career-high 101.7 mph on the gun today while working to Rhys Hoskins in the third. His other two hardest pitches in the game (99.4 and 99.1 mph) also came in that at-bat, which ended with Hoskins out on a foul popup. Skubal moved to 8-1 with a 1.92 ERA. He’s tied for third in the majors in wins, he’s fifth in ERA and he’s fourth in strikeouts with 96. Rotoworld Today, 1:19 pm

    • Not in Sunday's lineup
Stott is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets in London.

Advice: Stott started the previous nine games and is in the midst of a five-game hit streak, and he's gone 5-for-17 with a double, three walks, two RBI and four stolen bases in the latter stretch. Weston Wilson will take over at second base and bat eighth Sunday. Rotowire.com Today, 6:54 am
