    • Robert Suarez quiets Rangers to collect 22nd save
Robert Suarez fired a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday against the Rangers to record his 22nd save of the season.

Advice: Suarez came on to face the bottom of the Rangers’ lineup in the final frame with a two-run lead in hand and immediately got into trouble by issuing a leadoff walk to rookie sensation Wyatt Langford. Fortunately, he was able to get Leody Taveras to ground into a fielder’s choice before striking out Travis Jankowski and coaxing a game-ending ground out from Jonah Heim. He’s converted a staggering 22 of 23 save opportunities this season and figures to be named to the senior circuit’s All-Star Game roster in the coming days. Rotoworld 38 minutes ago
    • Ian Happ hits two three-run homers in rout
Ian Happ went 4-for-4 and hit a pair of three-run homers as the Cubs crushed the Phillies 10-2 on Thursday.

Advice: One of Happ’s remaining hits was a double, giving him 11 total bases in four plate appearances. Unfortunately, he was on deck when the bottom of the eighth ended, denying him a chance to add on. Happ has seven homers in his last 18 games after totaling just six in his first 64. He’s added about 100 points of OPS in three weeks and is currently at .238/.351/.448 for the year. Rotoworld 52 minutes ago

    • Juan Soto homers and walks in loss to Reds
Juan Soto homered and walked in a loss to the Reds on Thursday.

Advice: Soto swatted a two-run dinger in the eighth inning to cut Cincinnati’s lead to 8-4, but the Yankees got no closer. The homer and walk improves the All-Star’s slash to .300/.438/.568 with 21 blasts and 63 RBI. Rotoworld Today, 1:11 pm

    • Bo Bichette scratched Thursday with forearm bruise
Bo Bichette was scratched from Thursday’s lineup due to a right forearm contusion.

Advice: It’ll be Leo Jimenez making his big-league debut at shortstop on Thursday against the Astros in his absence. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Today, 11:57 am

    • Scratched from lineup
Bichette was scratched from the Blue Jays' lineup for Thursday's game against the Astros due to a right forearm contusion, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Bichette was hit by a pitch in the area during Wednesday's contest and felt some residual soreness while working out pregame Thursday. Consider him day-to-day. Leo Jimenez will slide over to shortstop and Spencer Horwitz will enter the lineup at second base. Rotowire.com Today, 9:11 am

    • Early exit in ninth loss
Rogers (1-9) took the loss Wednesday as the Marlins were downed 7-2 by the Red Sox, giving up two runs on five hits and three walks over three innings. He struck out six.

Advice: The southpaw didn't give up much hard contact as all the hits off him were singles, but Rogers was wildly inefficient and needed 84 pitches (52 strikes) to record just nine outs. It's the first time since May 21 he failed to last at least five innings, and over his last seven starts Rogers has a 3.49 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 29:16 K:BB through 39.2 frames. He'll try to give Miami more length in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road early next week in Houston. Rotowire.com Today, 6:19 am

    • Loving Dodger Stadium
Walker went 4-for-5 with a walk, a double, two home runs, four RBI and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 12-4 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Walker, who homered in the first game of the series Tuesday, gave Arizona the lead with a two-run homer in the fourth inning then finished off the Dodgers with a two-run shot in the ninth. The first baseman has five home runs in Dodger Stadium this season and 17 in 41 career games at Chavez Ravine. Walker leads the Diamondbacks with 20 homers and 59 RBI. Rotowire.com Today, 4:36 am
    • Homers in third straight game
Alvarez went 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, a walk, three runs and three RBI in a 9-2 victory versus the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Advice: Alvarez was a constant thorn in Toronto's side in the contest. He plated Houston's first run with a third-inning double, added a tiebreaking solo shot in the sixth inning and produced another RBI with a double in the eighth. Alvarez has gone deep in each of his past three contests, batting .545 (6-for-11) with three long balls, eight RBI and six runs over that span. Rotowire.com Today, 12:43 am

    • Unimpressive in return to majors
Scott surrendered four runs on six hits and two walks while striking out two batters over 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus Washington on Wednesday.

Advice: Scott was called up from Triple-A on Wednesday to log his first big-league start since May 30, but he didn't make much of an impression. The rookie right-hander tied a season-worst mark by allowing four runs, and he struck out a season-low two batters. It was an especially disappointing outcome for Scott after he retired 12 of the first 14 batters he faced -- six of the eight baserunners he allowed came over his final 1.2 frames, and he departed after giving up a three-run homer to Luis Garcia with two outs in the sixth. Despite the overall poor result, there's a good chance Scott will get at least another turn through the rotation with New York not having an off day until the All-Star break and with Tylor Megill recently demoted to the minors.
