    Kyle Manzardo is not in the Guardians’ starting lineup for Friday night’s battle against the Twins.

    Advice: Fantasy managers were hopeful that Manzardo would at least find himself as a regular against right-handed pitching once he was promoted from Triple-A Columbus, but that hasn’t been the case so far. The 23-year-old slugger has hit just .148/.207/.185 with zero RBI and a 10/1 K/BB ratio in his first 29 plate appearances at the game’s highest level.     Jared Triolo delivered a two-run homer and an RBI single against the Cubs on Friday.

    Advice: Ke’Bryan Hayes’ back injury gave Triolo a reprieve when Nick Gonzales was called up, but Gonzales is performing well so far (.824 OPS) and Triolo will need more of this if he’s going to stick around after Hayes returns. Triolo entered the day having gone hitless in his last four games and having collected only three extra-base hits in 161 plate appearances on the season. He’s at .201/.291/.257 overall.     Nationals activated 1B/OF Joey Gallo from the 10-day injured list.

    Advice: The 30-year-old slugger had been sidelined since late April with an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder. Prior to landing on the shelf, he was hitting just .122/.286/.311 with three homers, five RBI, one stolen base and a 43/15 K/BB ratio across 91 plate appearances.
