    • Two hits, two steals in win
Mullins went 2-for-5 with one RBI, two runs scored and two stolen bases in 7-6 win over the Yankees on Wednesday.

Advice: Mullins singled, stole second base and scored on a Ramon Urias home run in the fifth inning. He then took over in the 10th frame, hitting an RBI single, stealing third and scoring on an errant throw. Mullins saw a five-game hitting streak come to an end Tuesday but responded with a big game that included his first RBI in the month of June. While his .193 batting average is obviously disappointing, Mullins has still managed to accumulate six home runs and 15 steals over 224 plate appearances in 2024. Rotowire.com 4 minutes ago

    • Luis Medina holds Royals to one run in win
Luis Medina allowed one run with three strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings in a win over the Royals on Wednesday.

Advice: Medina put together a solid start against the Royals, holding them to one run into the sixth inning. He had tossed four scoreless frames before Bobby Witt Jr. brought a run in to score on a double in the fifth. Medina would record the first two outs in the sixth and exit with one runner on base. He struck out three. The 25-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 4.71 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and a 13/10 K/BB ratio across 21 innings. He’ll take on the Angels in Anaheim on Monday. • Secures 15th save
Megill struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Angels.

Advice: Megill needed just seven pitches (six strikes) against the middle of the Angels' order to close out this contest. He's pitched four of the last five days, but he's thrown just 12 pitches over his last two outings. He's now 15-for-16 in save chances with a 2.01 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 27:7 K:BB through 22.1 innings this season. If Megill is unavailable for Thursday's series opener versus the Padres due to his recent workload, a potential save chance would likely go to Joel Payamps or Hoby Milner. Rotowire.com 17 minutes ago
    • Exits with trainer
Altavilla was removed from Wednesday's game against the Athletics with an apparent side injury, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Altavilla seemed to be grabbing at his right side after throwing a pitch in the eighth inning of Wednesday's contest. The Royals will surely take a closer look at him in the locker room, and more details on the nature of his injury should be available after the game. Rotowire.com 21 minutes ago

    • Trevor Megill secures 15th save vs. Angels
Trevor Megill struck out one batter in a perfect ninth inning to record the save against the Angels on Wednesday.

Advice: Megill was summoned with a two-run lead in the ninth to close it out against the Angels. He made quick work of Los Angeles, needing only seven pitches to put them away with one strikeout for his 15th save of the season. Rotoworld 31 minutes ago
    • Homer, triple in win
Toglia went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, a triple and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 7-6 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Toglia is finding a rhythm at the plate, going 13-for-47 (.277) over 13 games since he was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on June 6. Five of his 13 hits in that span have gone for extra bases. The 25-year-old is up to a .191/.239/.436 slash line with six homers, 20 RBI, 14 runs scored, one stolen base, two triples and one double through 101 plate appearances this season. Toglia is playing on a near-everyday basis, splitting his time between first base and right field. Rotowire.com 32 minutes ago

    • Gives up six runs in no-decision
Feltner allowed six runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six over five innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Advice: Feltner has given up at least four runs in six of his last seven outings. He was on the hook for the loss until the Rockies rallied to tie the game in the seventh inning. His recent poor stretch of pitching has included four home starts, so it's not surprising he's struggled to find stability. Feltner is at a 6.02 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 73:22 K:BB through 80.2 innings over 15 starts this season. He's projected for a road start versus the Astros his next time out. Rotowire.com 38 minutes ago

    • Wild early in no-decision
Povich did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's 7-6 win over the Yankees, allowing one run on one hit and five walks with one strikeout over 4.2 innings.

Advice: Povich walked four batters between the first two innings but only allowed one run on a sacrifice fly by Gleyber Torres in the first. He settled down and retired eight straight hitters before walking Juan Soto with two outs in the fifth frame and was pulled at 94 pitches. After surrendering six runs in his debut June 6, Povich has allowed just one run over his past two outings and owns a 3.94 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 9:9 K:BB through 16 major-league innings. It is unclear if he will remain in the rotation when Dean Kremer (triceps) returns from the injured list. Rotowire.com 38 minutes ago

    • Steals two bases in win
Gonzalez went 1-for-4 with one RBI, one run scored and two steals in a 7-3 win over the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Advice: Gonzalez reached on an error, stole second and came around to score in the third inning then added an RBI single and another steal in the sixth. After missing most of June with a hamstring injury, Gonzalez has appeared in three straight games and drew his first start in center field of the season. He has had trouble staying healthy this season and is hitting .279 with four steals over 43 at-bats. Rotowire.com 40 minutes ago
