      Jordan Westburg went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run against the Rays on Friday.

      Advice: Westburg’s home run was his 10th of the season. He hit a two-run home run in the eighth inning to give the Orioles a 6-3 lead.       The Astros placed Tucker on the 10-day injured list Friday with a right shin contusion, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

      Advice: Tucker has been held out of action since he fouled a ball off his right shin during Monday's game against the Cardinals. Manager Joe Espada said Friday that Tucker is feeling much better since then, per Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle, though the outfielder's recovery has progressed much slower than the team initially expected.       Astros placed OF Kyle Tucker on the 10-day injured list with a right shin contusion.

      Advice: Tucker has been unable to play since leaving Monday’s game with a bruise on his left shin, and the Astros will place him on the injured list rather than play shorthanded. There’s no current timetable for when the 27-year-old can return, but fantasy managers will have to be without one of the best outfielders in baseball for at least a week.       Advice: Tucker will miss a third straight game while dealing with the shin contusion that he picked up Monday.       Cubs manager Craig Counsell now says X-rays last night on Nico Hoerner’s hand came back “somewhat inconclusive,” and the second baseman is not playing in Friday’s game.

      Advice: It was originally reported that the X-rays came back negative after Hoerner was hit on the right hand by a pitch. Hoerner, though, had some trouble gripping the bat and swinging today.       Hoerner is not in Friday's lineup in Cincinnati after being hit on the hand by a pitch in Thursday's win over the White Sox, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

      Advice: Hoerner was struck by a pitch in the fourth inning Thursday but stayed in and finished that game. He underwent a precautionary X-ray afterward, which evidently came back clean.       X-rays came back negative on Nico Hoerner’s hand after being hit by a pitch during Thursday’s game against the Reds.

      Advice: Hoerner remained in the contest and appears to have avoided serious injury after being plunked on the hand by a 96.5 mph fastball from Reds starter Hunter Greene during the early stages of the game.       Eloy Jiménez (hamstring) will begin a minor league rehab assignment next week.
