    Advice: While not known for his power, Mateo has run into a couple in recent days for his first two homers of the 2024 season. Saturday's start was the third straight for Mateo, as he has been playing regularly at second base since Jackson Holliday was demoted to Triple-A.   • Swipes bag in Saturday's start
    Hamilton went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Twins.

    Advice: Getting the start at second base and batting eighth, Hamilton swiped his third bag in 15 games for the Red Sox. The 26-year-old infielder is slashing just .214/.283/.310 though, and he offers little else for fantasy purposes. With Vaughn Grissom having recovered from the hamstring strain that cost him the first month-plus of the season and Ceddanne Rafaela still entrenched at shortstop, Hamilton has no clear path to consistent playing time.     CJ Abrams went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base against the Blue Jays on Saturday.



    Advice: Abrams knocked a base hit in the third and stole second to get into scoring position, but was stranded on the bases. Down by four runs with the bases loaded, he sent a fly ball to deep center field that fell just short of a grand slam. He settled for a sacrifice fly to bring home a run.     Manager Torey Lovullo said Saturday that Perdomo (knee) has been fielding live ground balls and has also resumed throwing, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

    Advice: Perdomo still has yet to resume hitting, as the Diamondbacks are going to take a cautious approach with his rehab just three weeks removed from knee surgery.     Bo Bichette was ejected from Saturday’s ballgame against the Nationals after spiking his helmet in frustration to a questionable called-third strike.

    Advice: The slumping 26-year-old shortstop appeared to take exception to a pitch that grazed the outside corner against him, and he took out some frustration on his helmet.
