    • Crushes seventh homer
Guerrero went 2-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run in Thursday's win over the Orioles.

Advice: The first baseman opened the scoring by launching a cutter from Cade Povich over the right-field fence in the third inning. Guerrero has gone yard twice in the last four games, giving him seven homers on the year. Over the last 15 contests he's slashing .345/.433/.552. Rotowire.com Today, 6:45 am
    • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swats three-run homer in win
Vladimir Guerrero popped a three-run homer Thursday to help the Blue Jays to a win over the Orioles.

Advice: Vladdy Jr. gave Cade Povich a rude introduction during Povich’s MLB debut with a three-run blast in the third. The 25-year-old also drew a walk and singled. Guerrero Jr. has made loads of hard contact and certainly has been a contributor in the average category with a .295 RBI, but it’s great to see the infielder start to drive the baseball on a more consistent basis as of late. • Slugs 14th homer
Alonso went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Nationals.

Advice: The first baseman took Washington closer Kyle Finnegan deep to left field in the ninth inning to give the Mets an insurance run. Alonso's racked up seven hits, including three doubles and two homers, over the last six games, and since May 7 he's slashing .279/.330/.548 in 26 contests with six of his 14 long balls and 15 of his 31 RBI on the season. • Pete Alonso hits 446-foot homer versus Nationals
Pete Alonso went 2-for-4 with a long home run Tuesday against the Nationals.

Advice: The homer off Kyle Finnegan was drilled 446 feet to left field. It’s the longest of Alonso’s 14 homers so far this season. He’s gone 7-for-23 with two homers and three doubles since May 30. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:40 pm

    • Vladdy Jr. playing third base again Tuesday
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is hitting third and playing third base Tuesday against the Orioles.

Advice: That will make two of three games that Guerrero Jr. is playing third base. The infielder has been swinging the bat better as of late, and Toronto is giving him a chance to handle the hot corner. Justin Turner is playing first base and Daniel Vogelbach will operate as the designated hitter while hitting fourth. Rotoworld Tuesday, 12:24 pm
    • Launches sixth homer
Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Orioles.

Advice: The 25-year-old crushed a Grayson Rodriguez slider in the fourth inning, sending it over the fence in straightaway center field with an exit velocity of 109.2 mph. Guerrero is beginning to flash a little more power -- over his last 11 games, he has three doubles and two of his six homers on the year -- but he's been making plenty of hard contact, slashing .367/.452/.495 since the beginning of May with 16 RBI and 16 runs in 28 contests. • Vlad Jr. hits sixth home run Monday
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-4 with a solo home run against the Orioles on Monday.

Advice: The home run was Guerrero Jr.'s sixth of the season. He was back at first base after playing third base on Sunday. It would boost his fantasy value to add third base eligibility, but he’ll need a few more appearances at the hot corner for that. Guerrero Jr.'s average is up to .295 with an .808 OPS on the season. • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. playing third base Sunday
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is playing third base and hitting third Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: It’s the first time Guerrero Jr. has drawn a start at third base since 2019. The 25-year-old has been working at the position during pregame festivities all season, but now he has a chance to man the hot corner for real. This will be interesting to watch, and it’d obviously be a major boon to his fantasy profile if he can get enough games at the position to qualify. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:49 am
    • Draws first start at 3B since 2019
Guerrero will start at third base and bat third in Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: According to Keegan Matheson of MLB.com, Guerrero has been taking grounders at third base in pregame workouts throughout the season, but he was believed to be more of an emergency option at the position after he had seen the bulk of his starts at first base or designated hitter over the past four-plus seasons. Regular third baseman Isiah Kiner-Falefa is healthy, however, and will get the start at second base Sunday, so Guerrero's inclusion at the hot corner could signal that the Blue Jays may be willing to give him more regular work at the position moving forward. Guerrero will be starting at third base Sunday for the first time since Sept. 27, 2019, with all four innings that he's played at the position since then coming as a replacement for a starter during the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
