      Steer went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Monday's 13-3 win over Colorado.

      Advice: Steer flipped the calendar on the month of May, during which he had a .176 average and .629 OPS. He's delivered multiple hits in all three games in June, going 8-for-14.     • Luis Guillorme delivers go-ahead sac fly for Halos
      Luis Guillorme came off the bench to deliver a go-ahead sac fly in the bottom of the eighth as the Angels edged the Padres 2-1 on Monday.

      Advice: For some reason, the Angels bypassed the squeeze opportunity with Guillorme up, a man on third and one out in the eighth.     • Luis Arraez (shoulder) doesn’t play against Angels
      Luis Arraez, day-to-day with a shoulder injury, was quite obviously not available as a pinch-hitter Monday in a 2-1 loss to the Angels.

      Advice: Padres manager Mike Shildt indicated before the game that Arraez might be available off the bench tonight but then held him out while using David Peralta and Tyler Wade as pinch-hitters in the seventh and ninth innings, respectively.     • Rodgers hits third home run Monday
      Brendan Rodgers went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a double and a solo home run against the Reds on Monday.

      Advice: Rodgers’ home run was his third of the season. He now has a hit in 11 of his last 12 games and is 15-for-47 (.319) with two home runs and eight RBI in that time. Rodgers will continue to see regular at-bats in the Rockies lineup and even gets to bat second against left-handed pitchers, making him an option in deeper formats.       Gorman went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs in a 7-4 loss to the Astros on Monday.

      Advice: Gorman hit solo home runs off Justin Verlander in the first and fifth innings and added a walk in the third. Gorman has been on an absolute binge in his past 10 games, tallying five multi-hit efforts, six home runs and 12 RBI since May 21.       Spencer Steer went 3-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI against the Rockies on Monday.

    • Gorman blasts two home runs Monday
      Nolan Gorman went 2-for-3 with a walk and two solo home runs against the Astros on Monday.

      Advice: The two home runs give Gorman 13 on the season. He’s now hit three home runs in his last two games. Gorman isn’t going to provide a good average. He’s hitting .230 and his career average is .230. Gorman can hit the stuffing out of the ball, though. He had 27 home runs in 119 games last year and is on pace to push for 30 home runs this year.       Semien went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in a 2-1 loss to the Tigers on Monday.

      Advice: Semien opened the scoring with a leadoff homer off Tarik Skubal and added a single and a walk in the third and fifth innings. The homer was Semien's first since May 17, and he has now reached base in 10 of his 14 June plate appearances.
