    • Nabs first steal
Smith went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 9-3 win over the Yankees.

Advice: The Red Sox stole a franchise-best nine bases in this contest, and even the not-so-speedy Smith got in on the fun. The first baseman hasn't done much in June, going 9-for-34 (.265) with two extra-base hits and seven walks over 12 contests. It's still an improvement on his .217/.323/.313 slash line through 133 plate appearances this season, and he's added just two home runs, 19 RBI, 12 runs scored and five doubles. Smith remains in a strong-side platoon role at first base, and that'll likely continue until Triston Casas (ribs) returns in July. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago

    • Homer, steal in day game
Santana went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and a stolen base in a 6-2 win over the Athletics in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader.

Advice: Santana also went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run scored in the nightcap. The first baseman is batting .326 (15-for-46) with three homers and two steals over 13 contests in June, a stretch that's helped him claim a starting role at first base since Alex Kirilloff was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul. Santana is at a .235/.316/.425 slash line with 11 homers, 36 RBI, 26 runs scored and two steals through 66 games this season. Rotowire.com Today, 8:45 pm

    • Goes yard again
Locklear went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Sunday's 5-0 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Locklear has safely reached base in five consecutive games and has generated a hit in six of his eight big-league contests. The 23-year-old chipped in a solo home run off Jose Leclerc in the seventh inning, marking Locklear's second homer since being called up June 8. Locklear has started in all but one of Seattle's games since his promotion, filling in at first base for Ty France (heel), who's expected to return from the IL as soon as Tuesday. • Three hits, three RBI
Vaughn went 3-for-5 with a two-RBI single, an RBI groundout and a run scored during Sunday's 12-5 loss to Arizona.

Advice: Vaughn participated in four of the White Sox's five runs, most of which came during the ninth inning when Vaughn plated Tommy Pham and Martin Maldonado with a single before coming around to score himself. On the year, Vaughn is slashing .234/.289/.391, each of which would be career-lows. However, he's been hot during June, batting .364 with five homers, 12 RBI and 12 runs. Rotowire.com Today, 7:26 pm
    • Goes deep, walks twice
Schanuel went 1-for-2 with a solo homer, two walks and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

Advice: Schanuel belted a solo shot in the second inning for his seventh home run of the year and third in his last 10 games. However, he's gone just 8-for-34 (.235) during that span. Sunday was Schanuel's third straight game with multiple walks. He's now slashing .219/.301/.348 with 13 extra-base hits and 23 RBI through 63 games. Rotowire.com Today, 6:36 pm
    • Nolan Schanuel hits eighth homer versus Giants
Nolan Schanuel hit his eighth homer and walked twice against the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: The homer was projected at 410 feet, which was pretty stunning. As Baseball America’s JJ Cooper pointed out, this appears to be Schanuel’s first 400-foot flyball as a pro. Among major leaguers this year, Schanuel is in the first percentile in bat speed, the third percentile in hard-hit rate and the fifth percentile in average exit velocity. His previous long fly this year was 387 feet. It’s notable, though, that all four of his longest flies have come in June. It’s also notable that, in spite of that extreme lack of bat speed, he has more homers than Julio Rodríguez, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Manny Machado, Austin Riley, Nolan Arenado and many others. • Andrew Vaughn plates three runs in loss to D’Backs
Andrew Vaughn went 3-for-5 and drove in three runs on Sunday afternoon in a lopsided loss to the Diamondbacks in Arizona.

Advice: Vaughn got the White Sox on the board with an RBI groundout in the third inning that made it a 3-1 ballgame. He then tacked on a two-run single in the ninth that pulled the White Sox to within eight runs at 12-4. With his three-hit attack, the 26-year-old slugger is now slashing .234/.289/.391 to go along with nine homers, 31 RBI and one stolen base on the season. Rotoworld Today, 5:12 pm
    • Tyler Locklear hits second homer versus Rangers
Tyler Locklear hit his second MLB homer Sunday off the Rangers’ José LeClerc.

Advice: Ty France’s return is just around the corner, but Locklear is making a case to stick around afterwards as a platoon DH, even if his 12/1 K/BB in 29 plate appearances is hideous. After all, he’s now tied for third on the Mariners with his two homers. Not truly, but you believed it for a second, didn’t you? Rotoworld Today, 4:22 pm
    • Rowdy Tellez goes 3-for-5, drives in two
Rowdy Tellez went 3-for-5 with two RBI as the Pirates topped the Rockies 8-2 on Sunday.

Advice: Tellez is up to .419 with nine RBI in just 31 at-bats this month. There still isn’t really any mixed-league value here, but it should be quite a while before he’s again left out of the Pirates lineup against a right-hander. Rotoworld Today, 3:25 pm
