    • Laces five hits, drives in five
Yelich went 5-for-6 with a stolen base, two doubles, five RBI and one run scored in Friday's win against the White Sox.

Advice: Yelich collected his first five-hit game of 2024 and fifth of his career, achieving the feat for the first time since Aug. 17, 2019. The former MVP has been resurgent since returning from a back injury May 8, hitting .321 (25-for-78) with one homer, six stolen bases, 16 RBI and 14 runs scored. Overall, Yelich is slashing .325/.406/.564 in 134 plate appearances while anchoring a formidable first-place Brewers lineup. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:59 pm

    • Christian Yelich drives in five to beat White Sox
Christian Yelich went 5-for-6, drove in five runs and stole a base in a 12-5 win over the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: The Brew Crew were able to pick up 23 hits and six walks against the overmatched White Sox. Yelich was responsible for nearly a quarter of those, and two of them were double, giving him six on the season. The steal was the eighth, and Yelich continues to impress when on the field in 2024 with a .325/.406/.564 slash. It’s fun to see a the MVP version of Yelich thus far. • Randy Arozarena absent from Rays lineup on Friday
Randy Arozarena is absent from the Rays’ starting lineup for Friday night’s battle against the Orioles.

Advice: The 29-year-old outfielder’s struggles have been well documented this season, as he’s hitting a mere .159/.258/.313 with eight homers, 19 RBI and a 66/25 K/BB ratio over 229 plate appearances. Jonny DeLuca will start in his place in left field and will bat fifth for the Rays against Albert Suarez and the Orioles on Friday evening in Baltimore. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:54 pm
    • Getting break Friday
Arozarena is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Arozarena will get a break after starting the last four games for Tampa Bay, going 2-for-12 with one RBI in that stretch. The 29-year-old outfielder will cede left field duties to Jonny DeLuca, who will bat fifth while Jose Siri and Richie Palacios round out Tampa Bay's outfield. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:13 pm
    • Triple, three RBI in win
Soto went 1-for-3 with a triple and three RBI in Thursday's win over the Angels while also drawing two walks.

Advice: The right fielder walked in his second plate appearance before coming around to score on a home run from Aaron Judge. Soto would later add a bases-loaded triple in the seventh as he reached base three times for the second consecutive game. He's up to 24 RBI in the month of May, and his 49 RBI on the season have him tied for second in MLB with Marcell Ozuna, behind only Jose Ramirez's 57. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:47 am

    • Juan Soto triples home three against Angels
Juan Soto hit a three-run triple to help the Yankees to a win Thursday over the Angels.

Advice: Soto also drew a pair of walks. The three-run triple extended New York’s lead to 7-1, and gave the 25-year-old 49 RBI; tying him for second in the majors. Soto has been outstanding in his first year in pinstripes, and there’s loads of reasons to believe he’ll continue this good run over the next 100-plus games. Rotoworld Thursday, 9:24 pm

    • Arozarena hitting 2nd for Rays on Thursday
Randy Arozarena will hit second for Tampa Bay against the Athletics on Thursday.

Advice: With a left-hander on the mound, the Rays will deploy their right-hand heavy lineup, which means Richie Palacios, Brandon Lowe, and Jonathan Aranda will all head to the bench. That allows Yandy Diaz to lead off and Arozarena to move up to second in the order. The 29-year-old has been struggling for the entirety of the 2024 season, but perhaps hitting in front of the Rays’ middle-of-the-order bats will give him more good pitches to hit and lead to a solid performance. • Ends power drought
Yelich went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 10-6 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Yelich's last homer was was April 10. He dealt with a back injury that kept him out of the lineup for nearly a month, and his power was the last part of his game to return. The outfielder has gone 20-for-69 (.290) over 18 contests since he returned from the injured list, though he's logged just six extra-base hits in that span. For the season, Yelich is slashing .306/.390/.546 with six homers, 22 RBI, 19 runs scored, seven stolen bases, four doubles and two triples over 29 contests. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:44 pm

    • George Springer doubles, scores twice
George Springer went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and two runs scored in the Blue Jays’ 3-1 win over the White Sox on Wednesday.

Advice: Springer has fallen to the lower half of the lineup with Davis Schneider taking over leadoff duties in Toronto, but still managed to score six times with five hits in three games against the White Sox. Let’s see him do this against a different, more competent team before getting excited. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:57 pm
