      Semien went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk, three RBI and one stolen base in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Mariners.

      Advice: Semien got the Rangers on the board with an RBI double in the fifth inning and added a two-out, two-run single in the ninth, but the comeback fell short. This was his third multi-hit effort in June, though it was his first since June 3. The second baseman is slashing .265/.330/.438 with 11 home runs, 40 RBI, 50 runs scored and three stolen bases over 69 contests this season.       Tyler O’Neill went 2-for-5 with a pair of runs scored and an RBI in Saturday night’s 8-4 victory over the Yankees.

      Advice: O’Neill opened the scoring in the home half of the first inning with a one-out double off of the Green Monster that plated Jarren Duran from second base. O’Neill then raced around to score on an RBI single off the bat of Connor Wong. The 28-year-old slugger also singled in the second inning and scored on a two-run double by Rafael Devers.     • Marcus Semien drives thee runs in loss to Mariners
      Marcus Semien went 3-for-4 with three RBI in a loss to the Mariners on Saturday.

      Advice: Semien got the Rangers on the board with an RBI double off George Kirby to make it 4-1 Mariners. In the top of the ninth, the star second baseman drove in two more, but the Rangers still trailed 7-5 after that one.       Advice: Trout has been out of action since being diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his left knee near the end of April. Los Angeles has thus far kept him on the 10-day IL, but he doesn't seem to be anywhere near being activated -- or even beginning a minor-league rehab stint -- given his lack of baseball activity. Trout is expected to return to action at some point this season, but the Angels are unlikely to rush him back given their position in the standings, and his timeframe for rejoining the team remains hazy.       Kodai Senga (shoulder) threw around 30 pitches in a successful two-inning bullpen session on Saturday.

      Advice: He’ll throw another bullpen early next week and if all goes well with that session, it sounds like Senga will finally be cleared to face live hitters. He’s still going to need several minor league rehab starts before he’s an option to join the Mets’ rotation, but he’s at least taking small steps in the right direction.       Senga (shoulder/triceps) threw a two-inning bullpen session Saturday, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

      Advice: Senga was able to throw more than 30 pitches in the session and he's expected to throw a shorter one next week. The right-hander has been slowly working his way back from a posterior right capsule strain and then a subsequent triceps injury, and he's yet to make his season debut. Senga has already been ruled out for the first half of the season, but if he can build on Saturday's session next week, he'll remain on track to return relatively soon following the All-Star break.       Advice: Volpe made the most of his fifth-inning single, as he proceeded to steal both second and third base before coming home on an Alex Verdugo double. The second-year shortstop is up to 15 thefts (on 18 attempts) this season, tied for 13th in the league. Volpe's power is down in comparison to his rookie campaign, but he's reduced his strikeout rate from 27.8 percent to 21.3 percent, which has helped produce a much-improved .271/.329/.414 slash line.
