      Nick Lodolo held the Cubs to one run in six innings and struck out seven in the Reds’ 3-2 victory Friday.

      O'Neill was removed from Friday's game against the White Sox due to an apparent knee injury, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

      Advice: O'Neill had been visibly bothered by his right knee for about an inning before eventually coming out of the game during the third frame. The 28-year-old outfielder recently spent time on the injured list due to inflammation in the same knee, so the Red Sox will surely take a close look at him and should provide an update on his status in the near future.       Lopez (5-6) took the loss against the Yankees on Thursday, allowing seven runs on four hits and six walks while striking out four batters over four innings.

      Advice: Lopez threw just 54 of 96 pitches for strikes and issued a season-high six walks -- more than he had handed out over his previous seven starts combined. Three of the free passes came to consecutive batters leading off the third frame, and all three of the recipients came around to score. The wildness was probably an aberration for Lopez considering his overall track record, but even when he's finding the strike zone, he's been struggling to get batters out. Iglesias hasn't been punching out batters at his usual rate this season -- he has just 16 strikeouts through 23.1 innings -- but he nonetheless is tied for fifth in the majors with 16 saves (in 18 chances).       Advice: Houck carried a no-hitter through five innings, though the White Sox managed to tag him for one run in each of the sixth and seventh frames. The right-hander remains dialed in, having allowed just four runs over 27 innings across his last four starts. Houck is at a 1.91 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 84:15 K:BB over 85 innings through 13 starts this season. His next start is projected to be a challenging one at home versus the Phillies.       Advice: The four walks were a season high for Gray, and he also uncorked two wild pitches, one of which allowed a run to score in the fifth inning. Gray's control issues have manifested with five straight starts where he's allowed multiple walks, and he's failed to complete six innings in any of his last four outings. The right-hander is now at a 3.21 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 82:19 K:BB over 61.2 innings through 11 starts this season. Gray is projected to make his next start at home versus the Pirates.       Pablo Lopez allowed seven runs in four innings and took the loss against the Yankees on Thursday.

      Advice: Lopez gave up four hits, walked six and struck out four. It was a tough matchup against the Yankees, but Lopez was shaky in this one. He hit Austin Wells in the second inning and he scored on a home run by Trent Gresham. In the third inning, Lopez walked the bases loaded and all three of the runners ended up scoring. In the fourth inning, he walked Aaron Judge, who also ended up scoring. Lopez’ ERA is up to 5.45 on the season, but his xFIP is significantly lower at 3.42.
