The 31-year-old slugger, who crushed an RBI double off the base of the center-field wall in the opening frame against Marlins southpaw Trevor Rogers for his 1,000th career hit, will undergo additional testing to determine the severity of the injury. Even though Garcia isn’t repeating the monster season he produced last year, he’s still carving out a pretty nice year for himself.
