    • Plays outfield
Garcia started in right field and went 0-for-4 in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: This was Garcia's first start in the outfield since missing two games due to a forearm injury. He's gone 3-for-23 (.130) with a home run, a double and two RBI since his return. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:48 am
    • Nolan Jones (back, knee) runs bases on Tuesday
Nolan Jones (back, knee) progressed to running the bases on Tuesday at Coors Field.

Advice: Jones was pulled off a minor league rehab assignment last week due to right knee soreness, so it’s an encouraging development that he’s resumed running already. The 26-year-old should ramp-up the intensity in the coming days and could get back into minor league contests as early as Thursday with Triple-A Albuquerque. He’s been on the shelf since late April due to a lower back strain. Rotoworld Tuesday, 3:29 pm

    • Michael Harris leading off for Braves vs. Nats
Michael Harris II is hitting leadoff against the Nationals on Tuesday.

Advice: Harris will get the first crack at the leadoff spot with Ronald Acuña Jr. now out for the season with his torn ACL. With Harris in the leadoff spot, he has the chance to be driven in by Austin Riley, Matt Olson and a plethora of other quality hitters in the Atlanta lineup. There’s a lot to like about this situation, outside of the bummer that is the Acuña Jr. injury. Rotoworld Tuesday, 12:05 pm
    • Nearing new rehab assignment
Jones (back/knee) took batting practice and completed light outfield drills prior to Monday's game, MLB.com reports.

Advice: This was significant progress for Jones, marking the first time he swung a bat since his first rehab assignment was halted when he experienced knee inflammation. The next step will be running the bases, but that could be the final benchmark before he embarks on a second rehab stint in the minors. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:11 am

    • Swipes bag in loss
Harris went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Nationals.

Advice: Batting seventh in an Atlanta lineup that got juggled around in the wake of a season-ending knee injury to Ronald Acuna, Harris reached base twice for the fourth time in the last six games. The 23-year-old center fielder is still looking to regain his usual form, but he's showing signs of heating up -- over his last 16 contests, he's slashing .290/.333/.403 with two of his five homers and three of his eight steals on the year. • Bellinger has two-hit game Monday
Cody Bellinger went 2-for-4 against the Brewers on Monday.

Advice: It was a quiet day for the Cubs offense as they could only muster one run. Bellinger, however, has been hot at the plate since a slow start early this season. He’s 31-for-104 (.298) since April 13th.

    • Ronald Acuña Jr. (knee) placed on 10-day IL
Braves placed OF Ronald Acuña Jr. on the 10-day injured list with a torn left ACL.

Advice: Acuña Jr. was diagnosed with a torn ACL last night and will be out for the season. It’s a brutal blow for the Braves and Acuña Jr., who has now torn the ACL in both of his knees. The Braves called up J.P. Martinez to take Acuña Jr.'s spot in on the active roster, but Adam Duvall will likely see an uptick in playing time until the Braves maybe make a move for an outfielder. • Officially placed on injured list
Atlanta placed Acuna (knee) on the 10-day injured list Monday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Acuna suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during Sunday's 8-1 win in Pittsburgh and will undergo season-ending surgery in the coming days. He missed the second half of the 2021 season due to a torn ACL in his other knee and is now slated for another lengthy absence. Jarred Kelenic and Adam Duvall will likely be in line for additional at-bats in the corner outfield with Acuna out, though Atlanta could seek help from outside the organization. • Smacks 18th homer
Tucker went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk Sunday against the Athletics.

Advice: The Astros scored all five of their runs in the fourth inning, and Tucker delivered the final blow with his 18th homer of the season. He's gone yard 11 times across 23 games in May, good for a 1.127 OPS. Rotowire.com May 27, 12:18 am
