• Gets start against righty
Taylor went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday's win over the Yankees.

Advice: With Starling Marte (knee) landing on the injured list, Taylor and DJ Stewart are expected to split reps in right field. Instead of using a strict platoon, however, Mets manager Carlos Mendoza elected to deploy the right-handed Taylor against Gerrit Cole on Tuesday, perhaps prioritizing Taylor's superior defense. The 30-year-old is making a case for a bigger role with his bat as well, batting .273 (9-for-33) in June with three doubles, a triple, an RBI and five runs. Rotowire.com Today, 8:18 am

  • Drives in five in loss
Judge went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a home run and five RBI in Tuesday's 9-7 loss to the Mets.

Advice: Most of his damage came on a grand slam in the eighth inning off Reed Garrett as the Yankees tried to mount a comeback from a 9-1 deficit. Judge is putting the finishing touches on a mammoth June that has seen him slash .386/.500/.871 with nine homers and 30 RBI in 20 games. Rotowire.com Today, 5:33 am

  • Aaron Judge hits grand slam in loss
Aaron Judge went 2-for-3 with a walk and five RBI in a loss to the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Judge had an RBI double in the seventh inning with the Yankees down by seven but then crushed a 390-foot grand slam at 109.4 mph that brought the Yankees within two. While the bottom of the Yankees lineup may not be particularly deep, they still have Aaron Judge, which will always make them a threat. The big right fielder now has 29 home runs and 75 RBI already this season, which seems like video game numbers. You’re feeling great if you were able to take him with your first-round pick. • Roansy Contreras to start Wednesday against A’s
Roansy Contreras will start on Wednesday against the Athletics.

Advice: It’s a favorable matchup for streaming purposes, but Contreras is too risky to roll the dice on, with the notable exception of extremely deep mixed leagues or AL-only formats. The 24-year-old former prospect was acquired last month from the Pirates in a small trade and has fared reasonably well in nine relief appearances for Los Angeles. Angels manager Ron Washington told reporters they’re hoping to get at least four or five innings out of Contreras on Wednesday afternoon. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:10 pm

  • Set to start Wednesday
Contreras will start Wednesday's game against the Athletics, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The 24-year-old was acquired from the Pirates in May and has worked out of the bullpen for his first nine appearances for the Halos. Contreras has pitched to a 3.29 ERA and 0.95 WHIP over 13.2 innings with Anaheim, and manager Ron Washington said the club is hoping the right-hander can cover about four or five innings versus Oakland, per Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com. • Taking seat against LHP
O'Hearn is absent from the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Guardians, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: As per usual, O'Hearn will be held out of the lineup with the Orioles facing a southpaw, as Logan Allen takes the mound for Cleveland on Tuesday. O'Hearn is riding a five-game hit streak, batting 7-for-22 with eight RBI during that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:44 am

  • Nathaniel Lowe goes 0-for-4, fans three times
Nathaniel Lowe went 0-for-4 and struck out three times against the Brewers in Monday’s loss.

Advice: Lowe looked like a long-term answer at first base for the Rangers in 2022, but his power production fell off last year and has continued to decline this season, as he’s managed just two homers and three barrels through 228 plate appearances. His .351 OBP is nice, so it seems unlikely that the Rangers will try to upgrade this summer. However, if he fails to step it up, he’s going to be a non-tender candidate this winter. • Back in lineup Monday
Neto (calf) is starting at shortstop and batting sixth for Monday's series opener against Oakland, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Advice: Neto was removed in the fourth inning of Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Dodgers due to left calf tightness. Angels manager Ron Washington said after Saturday's game that the injury was minor, per Sam Blum of The Athletic, and Neto will end up not missing any games with the team having its off day Sunday. Neto is slashing .250/.299/.433 with 10 home runs and 32 RBI across 272 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Monday, 2:38 pm

  • Zach Neto in starting lineup after calf issue
Zach Neto is starting at shortstop Monday after leaving Saturday’s game with calf tightness.

Advice: The very rare Sunday off day for the Angels gave Neto some additional time to recover. He’s batting sixth tonight. Rotoworld Monday, 2:32 pm
