      Langford went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in a 7-0 win against the Marlins on Saturday.

      Advice: Langford singled and scored a run in the fourth inning then added a two-run base hit in the ninth. In four games since returning from the injured list with a hamstring strain, Langford has posted two multi-hit efforts and totaled four RBI. Langford's current slash line of .229/.292/.290 has obviously been disappointing, but he appears healthy and has started each game since his return from the injured list on May 28.       Wyatt Langford drove in two runs in a victory over the Marlins for the Rangers on Saturday.

      Advice: Langford’s RBI came in garbage time, as he drove in a pair of runs to make it 7-0 in the ninth inning. Still counts.       Yordan Alvarez went 3-for-3 with two homers and three RBI in a 5-2 win Saturday over the Twins for the Astros.

      Advice: Alvarez also drew a walk. The 26-year-old slugger took Joe Ryan deep with a runner on in the first, and did more damage against Ryan with a solo shot in the fifth. That ups Alvarez’s total to 11 roundtrippers on the year, and he’s plated 25 over the first 59 games of the season for the Astros. Alvarez has been as good as any hitter in baseball the last few years, and it’s the only reason why those numbers and a .283/.357/.480 slash seem slightly disappointing.     • Yandy Díaz triples, drives in three in loss
      Yandy Díaz went 1-for-4 with a triple and three RBI against the Orioles on Saturday.

      Advice: Díaz brought two runs in to score with a line drive off the right field wall as he legged out a triple in the second inning. He was credited with a third RBI after drawing a bases-loaded walk in the third. The 32-year-old first baseman is slashing .243/.320/.350 with four homers and 28 RBI across 253 plate appearances.     • MRI shows no structural damage
      Romano (elbow) had an MRI on his right elbow Friday night, which didn't reveal any structural damage, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

      Advice: Romano was placed on the 15-day injured list with inflammation in his throwing elbow, but he appears to have avoided a significant injury. The 31-year-old will be shut down from throwing for a few days before Toronto will determine what direction the team will go from there.       The Padres placed Darvish on the 15-day injured list Saturday with a left groin strain.

      Advice: Darvish had to make an early exit from his start Wednesday against Miami due to hamstring problems, but the issue appears to instead be groin-related. His move to the IL is backdated to Thursday, allowing him to be eligible to return June 14. He will be joined by fellow starter Joe Musgrove (elbow) on the injured list while Randy Vasquez and Logan Gillaspie come up from Triple-A El Paso to take their places.       Padres placed RHP Yu Darvish on the 15-day injured list with a left groin strain.

      Advice: Darvish was originally believed to be dealing with a hamstring issue, but it turns out to be a groin strain that will keep him sidelined for at least a few weeks. The 37-year-old righty lasted just three innings on Wednesday against the Marlins before exiting due to hamstring tightness and holds a solid 3.20 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and a 53/15 K/BB ratio over 56 1/3 innings (11 starts) this season.
