    • Dominates Atlanta for win
Darvish (4-1) got the win over Atlanta on Sunday night, throwing seven shutout innings while allowing just two hits and a walk. He struck out nine.

Advice: Darvish continued his excellent run since returning from the injured list April 30 and is now up to 25 straight scoreless innings, having last given up a run April 14. He had one instance with facing runners in scoring position and that was after a first inning double by Marcell Ozuna. He ended his night by retiring the last 13 batters he faced in order and generated a season-high nine strikeouts while getting 14 whiffs on 99 pitches. Darvish also picked up career win No. 200 and will take an excellent 2.08 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 46:13 K:BB into his next start, which lines up to be against the Yankees during a weekend series. • Yu Darvish strikes out nine in victory over Braves
Yu Darvish delivered a dominant performance in Sunday night’s victory over the Braves, piling up nine strikeouts over seven innings of scoreless baseball.

Advice: The 37-year-old right-hander gave up just two hits on the evening while allowing one base on balls. Only once did the Braves put a man in scoring position against him, and that was on Marcell Ozuna’s two-out double in the opening inning. He finished his night by retiring the final 13 hitters that he faced in order. Darvish got 14 swings and misses on 99 pitches on the night, posting a strong CSW of 34 percent. He now boasts a 2.08 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and a 46/13 K/BB ratio over 47 2/3 innings through his first nine starts on the season. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling when he does battle against the Yankees on Friday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:05 pm

    • San Diego-Atlanta game postponed
Darvish and the Padres will not play Saturday after their game in Atlanta was postponed due to inclement weather.

Advice: The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Monday. Darvish will be pushed back a day to start Sunday, which would also mean delaying Joe Musgrove's (elbow) return from the injured list to Monday. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:03 pm

    • Throws another bullpen Saturday
Miller (shoulder) threw a bullpen session Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Miller is now expected to throw a three-inning simulated game within the next few days. Assuming all goes well, he will then embark on a minor-league rehab assignment. The Dodgers haven't said how long they plan on keeping Miller in the minors, but considering he has been on the shelf since April 13, he will likely need to make multiple starts in order to get back to a starter's workload. • Bobby Miller (shoulder) throws bullpen session
Bobby Miller (shoulder) threw a bullpen session at Dodger Stadium on Saturday afternoon without any issues.

Advice: Up next for Miller will be a three-inning simulated game, and if all goes well with that session he’ll finally progress to a minor league rehab assignment. Anticipate that he’ll need at least two starts in the minors before he’s an option to rejoin the Dodgers’ rotation — but he is taking tangible steps in that direction. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:19 pm

    • Throws bullpen session
Cole (elbow) threw two simulated innings in the bullpen Saturday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Cole has been slowly ramping up his activity over the past few weeks, and his next step will likely be facing hitters in live batting practice. The reigning AL Cy Young winner has been out since mid-March while nursing nerve irritation and edema in his right elbow, and he's been throwing off a mound since May 4. Pitching coach Matt Blake said after Cole's bullpen session Saturday that the right-hander was clocked throwing in the low 90s, but he is still likely multiple weeks away from making his return. At this rate, Cole's timetable to return looks like it could be mid-to-late June. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:28 am

    • Gerrit Cole (elbow) may face hitters next week
Yankees pitching coach Matt Blake told reporters Saturday that Gerrit Cole (elbow) may progress to facing hitters next week.

Advice: Blake added that Cole was throwing in the low 90’s during Saturday’s bullpen session, elaborating that he’s a notch ahead of a typical spring training progression, but remains several weeks from returning. The 33-year-old reigning AL Cy Young Award winner isn’t expected back until sometime in mid-June. Rotoworld Saturday, 9:15 am

    • Stumbles in Miami
Scott (0-2) took the loss Friday as the Mets fell 8-0 to the Marlins, giving up four runs on seven hits and a walk over four innings. He struck out three.

Advice: All the damage off the rookie right-hander came in the second inning, with a three-run homer by light-hitting catcher Nick Fortes accounting for most of it. Scott left the mound after throwing 84 pitches (55 strikes), and after a strong big-league debut against the Rays, he's run into trouble against NL East foes. The 24-year-old will stick in the rotation for now, but if his struggles begin to mount, it wouldn't be a surprise if the Mets sent him back to Triple-A. Scott will carry a 4.32 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 17:4 K:BB through 16.2 innings into his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Cleveland. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:47 am
    • Cole Ragans goes seven scoreless to defeat A’s
Cole Ragans blanked the A’s for seven innings, allowing just two hits, in the Royals’ 6-2 win Friday.

Advice: It’s the first time this year that Ragans has completed seven innings, though it’s the third time he’s pitched at least six scoreless innings. He’s 3-3 with a 3.70 ERA and an excellent 64/19 K/BB in 56 innings. Up next is a home start versus the Tigers. Rotoworld Friday, 10:28 pm
