    • Brandon Lowe goes 2-for-4 in Rays’ victory
Brandon Lowe went 2-for-4 with a steal and a run scored as the Rays came back to edge the Reds 2-1 on Sunday.

Advice: Lowe started the two-run rally in the eighth with a tapper that went for an infield single. In general, though, he’s been hitting the much harder of late; he’s batting .324/.415/.704 with seven homers this month. He hasn’t been talked about much in trade rumors, but he’s another Rays player who could well be shipped off here. Rotoworld 30 minutes ago

    • Being placed on waivers
The Marlins are placing Bell on waivers Sunday, Robert Murray of FanSided.comreports.

Advice: Bell remains in the lineup at first base for Sunday's contest against the Brewers, so it doesn't appear he'll be going anywhere quite yet. The Marlins may simply be gauging interest in the veteran slugger, who has posted a .239/.303/.396 slash line with 14 homers in 103 games this year. Bell has shown signs of life at the plate recently and has homered in four consecutive games and has multiple hits in five straight. A $16.5 million salary for this season remains a major hurdle to the 31-year-old being moved, either via trade or waivers. Rotowire.com 42 minutes ago

    • Marlins placing Josh Bell on outright waivers
Robert Murray of FanSided reports that the Marlins are placing Josh Bell on outright waivers.

Advice: Bell is in the lineup playing first base against the Brewers on Sunday, but it appears this will be his last game as a Marlin. The 31-year-old has hit .239 with 14 homers and 18 doubles after being acquired by the Marlins from the Guardians right around a year ago. Bell should see interest on the waiver wire, and keep in mind the trade deadline is Tuesday. Rotoworld 52 minutes ago

    • Making Orioles debut Monday
Eflin is scheduled to start during Monday's doubleheader against the Blue Jays, and he expects to take the ball in Game 2, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: Baltimore hasn't officially announced their starters for the twin bill, but Eflin appears set to pitch in the matinee. The right-hander was officially added to the active roster Sunday after being acquired from Tampa Bay on Friday. The 30-year-old posted a 4.09 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 87:13 K:BB in 110 innings across 19 starts for the Rays prior to being traded. Rotowire.com Today, 10:00 am
    • Homers in win
Carroll went 1-for-2 with two walks and a solo home run in Saturday's 9-5 win over Pittsburgh.

Advice: Carroll, hitting out of the eight-hole against a left-handed starter, led off the second inning with a solo shot to give Arizona a lead. The home run was his seventh of the season and fourth in the last nine contests, during which he's knocked in 10 runs. Carroll remains a leadoff batter against righties but is now being dropped against lefties. Rotowire.com Today, 9:58 am
    • Idle vs. southpaw
Stott is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Guardians.

Advice: With left-hander Joey Cantillo taking the mound for Cleveland on Sunday, Stott will begin the contest in the dugout. Edmundo Sosa will start at second base and bat seventh. Rotowire.com Today, 8:00 am

    • Homers in second straight game
Hoskins went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in a loss to the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Hoskins plated all three of the runs Milwaukee scored against Miami starter Max Meyer with a three-run blast in the fourth inning. It was the second straight game with a long ball for the veteran first baseman, and Saturday's homer was his sixth over his past 14 contests. The surge has pushed Hoskins to 17 home runs on the campaign, and he's now three long balls away from reaching 20 for the fifth time in his career. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:09 pm

    • Goes deep again Saturday
Bell went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, a double and a walk in a 7-3 win against the Brewers on Saturday.

Advice: Bell busted the game open for Miami with a three-run blast in the seventh inning that gave the team a four-run lead. It was the veteran slugger's fourth straight game with a long ball and his fifth consecutive contest with multiple hits. Over the latter span, Bell is batting a robust .476 (10-for-21) with four home runs and seven RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:57 pm

    • Grabs 19th save
Doval allowed one hit in a scoreless inning while striking out one to earn a save over Colorado on Saturday.

Advice: Doval entered with a three-run lead in the ninth and saw the tying run come up to the plate, but he managed to come out unscathed for the save. It was Doval's 19th save in his 23rd opportunity, a far cry from his league-leading 39 saves last season. The 27-year-old has a 4.28 ERA through 40 innings, but a high walk total has led to a 1.60 WHIP thus far. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:20 pm
