    • Remains out of lineup
Lowe (toe) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mariners, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Lowe will miss out on a fourth consecutive start as he deals with a fractured right pinky toe. The plan still seems to be for Lowe to attempt to play through the injury, and perhaps he'll be ready to do so Friday against the Nationals following the Rays' off day Thursday. • Sitting out Tuesday
Stott is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Detroit.

Advice: Southpaw Tarik Skubal is getting the ball for the Tigers on Tuesday, so it's a sensible spot to give Stott a day off. Edmundo Sosa is handling second base for the Phillies on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:15 pm

    • Still out of lineup
Lowe (toe) isn't in the starting nine for Tuesday's game against Seattle.

Advice: Lowe will be on the bench for the third consecutive game after suffering a broken right pinky toe Saturday. While he's expected to avoid the IL and was available to pinch hit Sunday, it's slightly concerning he hasn't appeared since sustaining the injury. Jose Caballero will bat third and play second base Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:31 pm

    • Held out again Monday
Lowe (toe) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mariners.

Advice: Lowe suffered a fractured right pinky toe when he was hit by a pitch in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Pirates. While the plan is for him to attempt to play through the injury, Lowe has now missed two straight starts. Richie Palacios will again handle second base while Lowe stays off his feet. • Sitting Sunday
Lowe (toe) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Lowe will sit for the series finale Sunday after sustaining a broken pinky toe on a hit-by-pitch in the first inning of Saturday's 4-3 loss to Pittsburgh. Lowe isn't expected to be placed on the IL and will be available to pinch hit Sunday, per Topkin. Richie Palacios will start at second base Sunday and bat fifth against Pirates right-hander Paul Skenes. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:18 am

    • Brandon Lowe sitting out Sunday with fractured toe
Brandon Lowe is not in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Pirates.

Advice: The positive news here is that Lowe hasn’t been placed on the injured list yet after suffering a fractured right pinky toe during Saturday’s game when he was hit by a pitch. The 29-year-old second baseman is day-to-day for now. There should be some clarity on his status in a couple days, if not sooner, depending on whether he’s feeling well enough to return. • Ninth-inning grand slam in loss
Turang went 3-for-4 with a grand slam and a walk in Saturday's loss to the Padres.

Advice: Turang reached base four times in the contest, topping things off with a ninth-inning grand slam to bring Milwaukee back within two runs of the Padres. The grand slam was the second of his career, and he's now collected at least one RBI in three consecutive games. Turang has also recorded multiple hits in three straight and is now batting .296 on the campaign with five homers, 31 RBI and 26 stolen bases. Perhaps the only downside is that he's been caught stealing in each of his last three attempts, including twice Saturday. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:36 am

    • Brice Turang slugs grand slam in loss to Padres
Brice Turang singled twice, drew a walk and belted a grand slam on Saturday night as the Brewers were thwarted by the Padres in San Diego.

Advice: Turang led off the game with a walk but was gunned down by Kyle Higashioka while attempting to steal second base. Then he singled to center in the third inning and was once again cut down trying to nab second base. Turang had been caught stealing just twice all season entering play on Saturday. Then he prevented a shutout with a two-out grand slam off of Jhony Brito in the ninth inning that pulled the Brewers to within two runs at 6-4. With his three-hit effort, the 24-year-old infielder is now hitting .296/.360/.416 with five homers, 31 RBI and 26 stolen bases in 30 attempts on the season. Rotoworld Saturday, 6:59 pm
