    • Report: Pirates talking to Halos about Taylor Ward
The Pirates are in talks with the Angels on a Taylor Ward trade, according to 93.7 The Fan’s Paul Zeise.

Advice: Ward would presumably play right field in Pittsburgh, replacing Joshua Palacios. Ward is still rather inexpensive and is under control through 2026, so it’d take a significant return to get the Angels to part with him. One imagines right-hander Bubba Chandler would be high on the list of prospects the Angels would like to get their hands on. Rotoworld Today, 9:30 am

    • Swiping bags efficiently
Arozarena went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, a run scored and a stolen base Tuesday against the Yankees.

Advice: Arozarena has struggled significantly for long stretches this season and has a .202 average and a .674 OPS across 359 plate appearances. Since June 1, however, he's hit .286 with a .868 OPS in 32 games. Arozarena's ability to get on base has also translated to more stolen bases, as he's swiped five bags in six tries in his last 17 games. Rotowire.com Today, 7:53 am
    • Homers twice Tuesday
O'Hoppe went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: O'Hoppe is 15-for-42 (.357) with four homers and nine RBI over his last 12 contests, logging four multi-hit efforts in that span. The catcher twice erased a deficit for the Angels in Tuesday's contest, but they couldn't find the lead. O'Hoppe is up to a .282/.334/.491 slash line with 14 homers, 42 RBI, 41 runs scored and one stolen bases over 297 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:47 pm

    • Logan O’Hoppe goes 3-for-4, hits two hoemrs
Logan O’Hoppe went 3-for-4 and homered twice against the Rangers on Tuesday.

Advice: Both homers were solo shots, since O’Hoppe was batting sixth behind fourth- and fifth-place hitters who combined to go 0-for-8. Why is O’Hoppe batting sixth? It’s because he’s young, apparently. He has an .825 OPS, which is 87 points higher than the mark of the second most productive hitter in the Angels lineup tonight, Taylor Ward (to be fair, it was only 53 points higher at the beginning of the night). • Nabs steal Tuesday
Yelich went 1-for-2 with two walks and one stolen base in Tuesday's 12-2 loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Yelich has gone 18-for-46 (.391) with five steals and eight extra-base hits over his last 12 contests. The outfielder is up to 20 thefts this season, the second year in a row and fifth campaign overall where he's reached that milestone. He's added a spectacular .331/.412/.532 slash line with 11 home runs, 41 RBI, 42 runs scored, 11 doubles and three triples across 66 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:10 pm
    • Christian Yelich on base three times for Brewers
Christian Yelich went 1-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base on Tuesday against the Pirates.

Advice: This was a game to forget for the Brewers as they lost by 10 runs and didn’t score after the second inning. Still, Yelich continued his sensational season as his .331 batting average would lead the National League if he were qualified. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:56 pm
    • Grabs fifth win
Pepiot (5-5) earned the win Tuesday over the Yankees, allowing one run on four hits and three walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: After allowing a run in the first inning, Pepiot held New York scoreless over his final 4.2 frames, allowing just two additional hits before the Rays turned to the bullpen with two outs in the sixth. It's the first win since June 4 for the 26-year-old Pepiot -- he'd gone 0-3 with a 5.40 ERA in his previous five outings. Overall, his ERA sits at 4.20 with a 1.13 WHIP and 90:31 K:BB across 16 starts (81.1 innings) this season. Pepiot is currently lined up to face the Guardians at home this weekend in his next outing. • Ryan Pepiot strong in win over Yankees
Ryan Pepiot allowed one run on four hits in 5 2/3 innings in a win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Pepiot also struck out seven but walked three on the day as well and was pulled after throwing 101 pitches. He induced 12 whiffs on 42 swings for a 29 percent whiff rate and 32 percent CSW. While the right-hander didn’t get many whiffs on his fastball on Tuesday, the pitch is the key to his potential success. He has thrown it up in the zone way more effectively than he did back when he was with the Dodgers, and his secondaries are starting to find some consistency. He seems like a glaring second-half breakout candidate and should be started in a tough matchup against the Guardians this weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:03 pm

    • Taylor Ward returns to lineup Tuesday vs. Rangers
Taylor Ward (knee) is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Rangers.

Advice: Ward sat out Monday’s series opener due to a right knee contusion that he suffered over the weekend, but he’s back in left field and batting third for Tuesday’s showdown at Angel Stadium. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:25 pm
