Anderson (8-9) took the loss against the Athletics on Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk over seven innings while striking out 10.

Advice: All three runs charged to Anderson came across in the first inning when he allowed two of the first three batters to reach before surrendering a three-run homer to Shea Langeliers. The lefty would then allow just three singles and a walk over six scoreless frames to close out his night, but still ended up taking his ninth loss as the Angels' offense produced just one run in the contest. Anderson induced 17 whiffs in the loss, racking up 10 strikeouts for the second time in his last four starts. He's also gone at least six innings in three of his last four outings and currently holds a 2.70 ERA in July to go along with a robust 32:2 K:BB. Rotowire.com 20 minutes ago
    • Taking seat Sunday
Lewis is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Detroit.

Advice: Lewis has gone 3-for-9 with a double and a homer in two games since being reinstated from the injured list Friday, and he'll receive a breather for Sunday's series finale. The 25-year-old has played in just 26 contests this year due to injuries, and manager Rocco Baldelli may attempt to keep him fresh with regular days off down the stretch. Jose Miranda will handle the hot corner Sunday while Ryan Jeffers rests his legs as the designated hitter. Rotowire.com 31 minutes ago

    • Monster home run in loss
Cruz went 2-for-4 with a home run, a triple and two runs scored in Saturday's loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Cruz jumped on the first pitch he saw from Brandon Pfaadt in the opening frame and launched it 472 feet to right-center field for the shortstop's 16th home run of the campaign and his fourth this month. The 25-year-old would then add his second triple of the season in the sixth before coming around to score on a groundout from Connor Joe. Cruz has put together a nice July thus far, slashing .304 with 11 extra-base hits, 16 RBI and 11 runs scored. Saturday's performance also marked his seventh multi-hit outing this month. • Belts homer No. 20
Schwarber went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a three-run home run in Saturday's 8-0 rout of the Guardians.

Advice: The veteran slugger reached 20 homers on the season when he took Nick Sandlin deep in the fourth inning, one of four Phillies long balls on the afternoon. It was Schwarber's first multi-hit performance since he returned from a groin strain in early July, and his first game with multiple extra-base hits since June 22. On the season, he's slashing .245/.370/.447 with 60 RBI and 67 runs in 93 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 4:41 am

    • Tyler Anderson posts 10 strikeouts in loss to A’s
Tyler Anderson recorded 10 strikeouts and allowed three runs over seven innings on Saturday in a loss to the Athletics.

Advice: It’s pretty remarkable that Anderson wound up being saddled with a loss, despite authoring one of his strongest performances of the season, cobbling together his second double-digit strikeout effort of the year. He served up a costly three-run homer to Athletics slugger Shea Langeliers in the opening frame, but proceeded to shut out Oakland’s lineup the rest of the way through seven impressive frames. He generated 17 swinging strikes, including 10 on his changeup alone -- which he threw nearly half of the time in this outing -- and finished with a solid 33 percent CSW. The 34-year-old southpaw will bring a sparkling 2.96 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 99/49 K/BB ratio across 130 2/3 innings (21 starts) into a home outing on Friday against the Mets, assuming he isn’t moved at the impending trade deadline. • Smacks 11th home run
Lewis went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Saturday's loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Lewis was reinstated from the injured list Friday, and it took him six at-bats to hit another long ball. He now has 11 home runs in 26 games this season and 26 homers in 84 games dating back to last season. The 25-year-old's struggles staying on the field are well documented, but when he's active, he's a must-start. Lewis has homered every 12 at-bats over the last two seasons, which only trails Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani in that span among players with a minimum of 200 at-bats. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:19 pm

    • Oneil Cruz swats 472-foot homer Saturday vs. ARI
Oneil Cruz hit a solo homer and tripled while going 2-for-4 in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Advice: Cruz absolutely shellacked a homer off Marco Gonzales that travelled a whopping estimated 473 feet in the first inning. The 25-year-old shortstop later tripled and scored on a fielder’s choice in the sixth. There are certainly frustrating moments with Cruz, but there aren’t many players capable of performing the things he can on a baseball field. He’s up to 15 homers and 52 RBI with a slash of .252/.304/.461. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:13 pm

    • Lewis belts 11th home run in loss Saturday
Royce Lewis went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run against the Tigers on Saturday.

Advice: Lewis’s home run was his 11th of the season and first since coming off the injured list on Friday. He took Tarik Skubal deep for a two-run shot in the first inning. Lewis continues to show that he’s a tremendous power hitter when healthy. He’s hitting .296 with a 1.046 OPS and 20 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:58 pm

    • Schwarber has two doubles, home run in win
Kyle Schwarber went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a three-run home run against the Guardians on Saturday.

Advice: The home run was Schwarber’s 20th of the season. With the Phillies up 4-0 already and two men on base with two outs in the fourth inning, the Guardians brought in reliever Nick Sandlin. Schwarber promptly took him deep for a three-run home run. It’s his third home run in 14 games in July. Schwarber is hitting .245 with an .817 OPS and 60 RBI on the season.
