    Ryan McMahon went 1-for-2 and clubbed a two-run homer on Saturday night as the Rockies fell to the Astros in Mexico City.

    Advice: McMahon got the Rockies on the board first in this one, clobbering a mammoth 459-foot (108.9 mph EV) two-run shot off of Ronel Blanco in the first inning. He also drew a walk and struck out in the contest, participating in only the three true outcomes.   • Zach McKinstry smacks run-scoring triple in win
    Zach McKinstry went 1-for-2 with an RBI triple as the Tigers topped the Royals in Saturday night in Detroit.

    India went 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Rangers.

    Advice: The 27-year-old slugged a two-run homer off Michael Lorenzen in the seventh inning, giving the Reds what proved to be crucial insurance runs after they'd jumped out to an early 3-0 lead. The long ball was India's first of 2024, and after managing only two multi-hit performances in his first 21 games, he's now racked up six knocks in the last two.     Christopher Morel was removed from Saturday’s game against the Red Sox after colliding with teammate Alexander Canario.

    Advice: Morel told reporters after the game that he felt alright, just a little banged up — specifically noting his right hip and both elbows. He did say that he was optimistic about his ability to play on Sunday, though manager Craig Counsell may have other plans. Be sure to check on his status prior to Sunday’s series finale.   • Emerges from fall uninjured
    Cubs manager Craig Counsell said Morel "is fine" after exiting Saturday's game versus the Red Sox after the seventh inning following a fall in the outfield, CHGO Cubs reports.

    Advice: Morel toppled over left fielder Alexander Canario after making a running catch and landed hard on the ground, banging up his elbows and right hip. He looked to be in some pain and was removed from the game at that point. However, it sounds like he probably would've remained in if the score hadn't been so lopsided.     Advice: India saw his season numbers take a decent jump after a four-hit day at the plate. He put the Reds on the board with a base hit in the second inning to drive in a run. India would do the same in the fourth, driving in his second run with a second. And he’d finally send one over the fence with his first homer of the season in the seventh, a two-run shot off Michael Lorenzen.
