    Ty France launched a two-run homer on Saturday, powering the Mariners to a 3-1 victory over the Diamondbacks.

    Advice: France’s two-run shot off Arizona righty Bryce Jarvis was more than enough offense for George Kirby and relievers Ryne Stanek and Andrés Muñoz, who allowed just one run on three hits combined in a low-scoring affair at T-Mobile Park.   • Carlos Santana homers in second straight contest
    Carlos Santana homered and collected four RBI on Saturday, leading the Twins to a 16-5 blowout victory over the Angels.

    Advice: Santana’s 408-foot moonshot off Angels lefty José Cisnero gave Minnesota a commanding five-run lead at the time and sparked an eventual blowout. The 38-year-old on-base machine has homered in back-to-back games, but is still scuffling early on in his Twins debut, batting just .188 (15-for-83) with three homers and 10 RBI through 23 contests.   • Jo Adell mashes two-run homer in loss to Twins
    Jo Adell went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and three RBI on Saturday in the Angels’ lopsided defeat at the hands of the Twins.

    Advice: The homer came off Twins starter Chris Paddack in the second inning of an eventual blowout loss. To his credit, Adell has displayed remarkably improved plate skills through 20 games this season, striking out just 21.6 percent of the time so far. The important caveat is that it’s still too early to make any definitive statements, but he’s clearly showing some improvement in the contact department. He’s up to three homers and five steals already and figures to continue (finally) playing everyday for Los Angeles.   • Bryan Reynolds homers to lift Pirates past Giants
    Bryan Reynolds walloped a tie-breaking two-run homer in the 10th inning on Saturday, leading the Pirates to a 4-3 extra-inning victory over the Giants.

    Advice: Reynolds went deep off Giants lefty reliever Taylor Rogers in extra innings, going deep for the second time in his last four contests. He also has a pair of multi-hit performances during that span. The 29-year-old outfielder has been one of the most consistent five-category impact contributors in the fantasy landscape for years now and has shown zero signs of slowing down.     Jorge Soler crushed a two-run homer on Saturday in the Giants’ extra-inning loss to the Pirates.

    Advice: Soler hasn’t quite found his groove at the dish this season in his Giants debut, but Saturday’s extra-inning round-tripper off Pirates closer David Bednar -- his fifth long ball of the season -- might help get him going again.     Advice: Ramirez didn't run much early in the campaign, but he's gotten back to it with all four of his steals this year coming over the last eight games. He's gone 9-for-32 (.281) in that span while adding nine RBI and four extra-base hits.   • Could play in Vegas on Sunday
    Davis (thigh/groin) joined Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday to partake in baseball activities and is expected to serve as the designated hitter for the Aviators on Sunday, MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Davis has been sidelined since sustaining his injury April 14, but he'd been ramping up physical activity in recent days. Manager Mark Kotsay said Saturday the plan is for Davis to rejoin the Athletics on Monday, at which point it will be determined whether he'll need to play in more rehab games or if he's ready to be activated from the injured list.     Rosario went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss to the Phillies.

    Advice: Rosario's eighth-inning solo shot didn't have much of an impact on the final outcome, but it did end Ranger Suarez's scoreless streak at 32.2 innings. The blast also snapped a 15-game homerless stretch for Rosario, though he often came on as a pinch hitter and thus had just 25 at-bats during that stretch. The third baseman has been arguably the league's hottest hitter of late -- he's on an 11-game hitting streak during which he's gone 22-for-43 (.512 average) with three homers, 16 RBI, 10 runs and a 4:5 BB:K.
