    • De La Cruz has three hits, home run against Boston
Elly De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a solo home run against the Red Sox on Saturday.

Advice: De La Cruz’ home run was his 13th. He blasted a solo shot off Red Sox starter Nick Pivetta in the third inning. On the bases, he was held without a stolen base, though it wasn’t for lack of trying. De La Cruz was both caught stealing and picked off. He remains stuck on 37 stolen bases entering play Sunday. • Fills in at second base
Alexander started at second base and went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 5-4 win over Philadelphia.

Advice: Alexander filled in for Ketel Marte for a second straight game -- Marte served as the designated hitter Thursday -- but the Diamondbacks have not indicated there's any issues with their primary second baseman. Since Arizona manager Torey Lovullo mentioned last week that Alexander would see more playing time, primarily at third base for the slumping Eugenio Suarez, the young infielder is 2-for-16 with a walk over five starts. • Dodgers transfer Max Muncy to 60-day IL
Dodgers transferred INF Max Muncy to the 60-day injured list.

Advice: The 33-year-old slugger has been shelved since May 17 due to a right oblique strain. There’s still no clear timetable for when he may be able to rejoin the Dodgers, though he now won’t be eligible to return until July 16 at the earliest. Muncy did take ground balls prior to Friday’s game, but he has a long way to go to build back up before he’s ready to be activated. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:02 pm

    • Transferred to 60-day IL
The Dodgers shifted Muncy (oblique) to the 60-day injured list Friday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Muncy was placed on the 10-day IL on May 17 due to a Grade 1 right oblique strain. It took him nearly a month to begin taking dry swings, and he has otherwise been limited to fielding grounders and running the bases. As he's still not close to beginning a rehab assignment, the Dodgers opted to move Muncy to the 60-day IL, meaning he won't be eligible to return until after the All-Star break. In a corresponding move, the Dodgers activated Kyle Hurt (shoulder) from the 60-day IL and optioned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday, per Harris. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:55 pm

    • Not facing lefty
Rojas is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: For the second straight night, the Mariners will face a left-handed starting pitcher and keep Rojas out of the starting lineup. Dylan Moore will bat second and play third base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:28 pm

    • Out against left-hander
Busch is not in the lineup for Friday's contest against the Mets.

Advice: The Mets are sending southpaw Jose Quintana to the bump, which means Busch will begin this one on the bench. Patrick Wisdom is getting the start at first base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:44 am

    • Sitting against southpaw
Rojas is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: With lefty Logan Allen on the hill for Cleveland, Rojas and fellow left-handed-hitting regulars Dominic Canzone and Luke Raley will retreat to the bench. Dylan Moore will move over from his usual spot at second base to cover the hot corner in Rojas' stead. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:53 am

    • Drawing start at third base
Alexander will start at third base and bat eighth in Wednesday's contest versus the Nationals.

Advice: Alexander will get his second start at the hot corner over the last three games. He's been seeing more reps at third base lately as a result of Eugenio Suarez's struggles. Suarez is also in Wednesday's lineup, occupying the designated hitter slot. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:57 am

    • Belts homer in loss
Busch went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk against the Giants in Monday's loss.

Advice: Busch gave Chicago its first lead with a two-run blast to center field in the sixth inning. It was his first long ball over his past 17 contests and just his second across his past 32 games. Busch began the campaign with six homers through 16 contests, so the fact that he's still yet to reach double digits in that category emphasizes the extent to which he's slowed down. Still, the first baseman has been hitting well lately, batting .370 over his past 27 at-bats. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:47 pm
