• Exits with elbow soreness Sunday
Blue Jays manager John Schneider said after Sunday's 7-6 win over the Guardians that Garcia was removed from the contest in the ninth inning with right elbow soreness, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports. "We'll see how he is and know more later [Sunday or Monday]."

Advice: Called upon for the save chance with the Blue Jays holding a 7-4 lead entering the top of the ninth, Garcia lacked his usual command in the relief appearance. After inducing a leadoff popout from Kyle Manzardo, Garcia surrendered a base hit to Daniel Schneemann before serving up a two-run home run to Brayan Rocchio. He then got Bo Naylor to foul out before getting lifted from the game after serving up back-to-back singles to Steven Kwan and Tyler Freeman. Nate Pearson came on with two outs and runners on the corners to put out the fire and enable Garcia to earn his 10th hold of the season, but Garcia's health now becomes the greater concern. If Garcia's elbow issue is serious enough for him to join Jordan Romano (elbow) on the injured list, the Blue Jays could turn to Pearson, Chad Green and Tim Mayza to handle any future save chances that may arise. • Yennier Cano earns unexpected save for Orioles
Yennier Cano got one out on four pitches Sunday to grab the save. He struck out the only batter he faced.

Advice: Things got hairy in the ninth inning for Baltimore as a walk and two errors loaded the bases and forced Brandon Hyde to go to Cano with the tying run on deck. He struck out Edmundo Sosa to end the game and earned his third save of the season working in mostly a set-up role while Craig Kimbrel still soaks up the majority of saves. • Hurls seven no-hit innings
Blanco (7-2) got the win Sunday vs the Tigers. He did not allow a run or a hit in seven innings, while walking three and striking out eight.

Advice: Blanco flirted with his second no-hitter of the season but his elevated pitch count forced him out of the game after seven frames, and the bullpen would give up a hit the next inning. The 30-year-old righty mowed through the Tigers lineup registering eight strikeouts in another impressive showing. Blanco lowered his ERA to 2.43 as he became the eighth pitcher since 1900 to have multiple games of seven innings and zero hits allowed in single season. Rotowire.com 28 minutes ago

  • Garcia leaves with trainer Sunday
Yimi Garcia left with an apparent injury against the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: We’ll have more when there’s an update on Garcia’s status. He left the mound with trainers with two men on and two outs in the ninth inning. Nate Pearson got the final out to earn his second save of the year. It’s unclear what the timetable could be for Garcia, who seemed to have a grip on the closer’s role in Toronto with Jordan Romano (elbow) out. Rotoworld 35 minutes ago

  • Lively gives up four in loss to Blue Jays Sunday
Ben Lively allowed four runs in four innings and got the loss against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Advice: Lively gave up six hits, walked three and struck out four. He had won his last five starts. Lively had allowed two runs through the first four innings. He was removed after walking Spencer Horwitz and Davis Schneider to begin the fifth inning. Both runners scored on Daulton Varsho’s grand slam off Nick Sandlin. Lively isn’t as good as his 3.02 ERA suggests given his 4.15 xFIP. He’s benefited greatly from an 85 percent left on base percentage and that caught it up with him a little bit on Sunday. He’s still been a really good find off the waiver wire for fantasy managers. The 32-year-old right-hander is set to face the Blue Jays at home next week.

  • Pete Fairbanks locked down Braves for save
Pete Fairbanks struck out two and walked one en route to his 10th save of the season on Sunday.

Advice: Fairbanks has been solid since returning from the IL last month with six saves in as many chances. It’s worth keeping an eye on his walk rate though as it’s inched up over 12%, the highest mark of his career. Rotoworld 45 minutes ago
  • Finnegan picks up 20th save Sunday
Kyle Finnegan threw a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: The save was Finnegan’s 20th of the season. He’s only blown two save opportunities so far this season and lowered his ERA to 1.78. Finnegan has come out of nowhere to be one of the best closers in fantasy this year.

  • Ryan Helsley nabs league-leading 24th save
Ryan Helsley closed out the Cubs on Sunday. He struck out one, walked two, and stranded both runners on base.

Advice: Helsely got into some trouble in the ninth inning and was bailed out by Brendan Donovan who made a catch crashing into the ivy at Wrigley Field to end the game. Helsley is fully back to being one of the best closers in baseball after an injury-marred 2023 season. Rotoworld Today, 1:06 pm
  • Shifts to 60-day IL
The Dodgers transferred Kelly (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday.

Advice: As a result of the transaction, Kelly won't be eligible to return to the Dodgers bullpen until the first week of July. The right-hander threw a 25-pitch bullpen session Friday, so he already seems to be making good progress in his recovery from the right shoulder strain that has kept him out of action since May 6. He could be cleared to begin a minor-league rehab assignment later this week or next. Rotowire.com Today, 12:38 pm
