• Matt Chapman has two hits, HR in loss
Matt Chapman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in a loss to the Pirates on Tuesday.

Advice: Chapman had three of the four hardest-hit balls on the Giants during the game. He had a 113.1 mph groundout, a 106.4 mph double, and a 104.8 mph home run that traveled 414 feet. He also added another 103.2 mph groundout, so it’s safe to say he was seeing the ball pretty well on Tuesday. The veteran is now 19-for-68 (.279) with two home runs, 15 runs scored, and eight RBI during May. He continues to hit cleanup for the Giants every game and is an underrated fantasy option. • Launches eighth homer
Varsho went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Monday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: The 27-year-old outfielder crushed a Erick Fedde changeup over the right-field fence in the second inning for his eighth long ball of the season. Varsho is batting just .182 (10-for-55) in May, but half his hits have gone for extra bases (three doubles, two homers) and he's stayed productive with two steals, nine runs and nine RBI in 14 games. • Out of Monday's lineup
Mountcastle is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Mountcastle is mired in a 1-for-20 slump and will sit Monday for the second time in Baltimore's past three games. Ryan O'Hearn will handle first base while Anthony Santander (knee) returns to the lineup as the designated hitter. Rotowire.com Monday, 1:22 pm
  • Lifts homer in win
Ramos went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Ramos has an extra-base hit in three of his last four games and at least one RBI in six of his last seven contests. The outfielder is batting .293 with a homer, eight RBI, six runs scored, a stolen base and three doubles through 44 plate appearances since he was called up May 8. Ramos is seeing steady time in the corner outfield while the Giants navigate a rough patch of injuries, and he's earned that role with strong hitting. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:07 pm
  • Heliot Ramos homers in win over Rockies
Heliot Ramos went 1-for-4 with a home run in a win over the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: The blast was a 409-foot shot that came off the bat at 102.5 mph. It was his first of the season. While teammate Luis Matos has been getting all the attention for his blistering start following his promotion from Triple-A, Ramos is looking good with a .293/.341/.439 triple slash. In fact, Ramos was outplaying Matos in Triple-A as well, with a .296/.388/.565 slash line, eight homers, 21 RBI, and a pair of stolen bases in his first 30 games. While many people will put big bids on Matos this weekend, a small bid on Ramos could go just as far. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:47 pm
  • Sitting Sunday
Doyle is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazettereports.

Advice: Doyle has a .962 OPS in his past 10 games but will take a seat Sunday after making 23 straight starts. Jordan Beck will man center field and bat seventh in the series finale at San Francisco. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:42 am
  • Delivers as pinch hitter Saturday
McCann entered Saturday's loss to the Royals as a pinch hitter in the ninth inning and singled in his only plate appearance.

Advice: McCann continues to see occasional starts behind the dish, but he'd gone a combined 1-for-10 with six strikeouts in the most recent three prior to Saturday's pinch-hit appearance. The rookie will continue to spell Shea Langeliers on occasion, and despite the recent skid, he still carries a .333 average and .975 OPS over 47 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:30 am

  • Adley Rutschman not starting Sunday vs. Mariners
Adley Rutschman is not in the lineup for Sunday’s finale against the Mariners.

Advice: Rutschman gets a rare day off for the finale against George Kirby and the Mariners. While Rutschman rests the Orioles will have James McCann behind the plate. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:48 am
  • Absent from lineup Sunday
Rutschman is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's matchup against the Mariners, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 26-year-old catcher will get a break Sunday in Baltimore's series finale against the Mariners. James McCann will start at catcher in place of Rutschman and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:43 am
