• Hopes to be available Wednesday
The Blue Jays hope Garcia (back) will be available to pitch Wednesday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: Garcia's last appearance came all the way back on April 28 as he deals with a nagging back issue. He's apparently feeling better, though, and as long as he checks out well during a pregame throwing session he is expected to be available out of the bullpen Wednesday. Garcia has been one of the best relievers in baseball this season, allowing just one run with a 16:3 K:BB over 13.1 innings. Rotowire.com 11 minutes ago

  • Nabs ninth save
Iglesias struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his ninth save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: The right-hander topped out at 97.1 mph as he bounced back from a blown save in his last appearance Friday. Iglesias hasn't been as dominant as usual to begin the season, managing a 10:3 K:BB through 14.1 innings, but his 1.88 ERA and 0.98 WHIP have been stellar. With his velocity finally getting back to normal as the weather warms up, more strikeouts could soon follow. Rotowire.com 32 minutes ago
  • Battles control in no-decision
Lopez came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Red Sox, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits and four walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: The four free passes were a season high for Lopez, who tossed 54 of 91 pitches for strikes before exiting. The right-hander has failed to last six innings in either of his last two outings after beginning the season with four straight quality starts, but he still sports a 1.53 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 36:14 K:BB through 35.1 innings. He'll look to tighten things up in his next start, which lines up to come at home early next week against the Cubs. Rotowire.com 36 minutes ago

  • Delivers another quality start
Crawford came away with a no-decision Tuesday as the Red Sox fell 4-2 to Atlanta, giving up two runs on five hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: The right-hander held a tough opponent in check, aside from a two-run shot by Jarred Kelenic in the third inning, but Crawford left the mound after 87 pitches (58 strikes) with the score tied 2-2. It was his fourth straight quality start and fifth of the season, and Crawford with take a 1.75 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 46:15 K:BB through 46.1 innings into his next outing, which is schedule to come at home early next week against the Rays. • Rangers designate Kolton Ingram for assignment
Rangers designated LHP Kolton Ingram for assignment.

Advice: This is Ingram’s second time being waived this season as he was let go by the Mets in late April. The 27-year-old has posted a 5.14 ERA, 2.00 WHIP and 3/7 K/BB ratio across seven innings with Triple-A Syracuse and Round Rock this season. Rotoworld 49 minutes ago

  • Starts up rehab assignment
Morgan (shoulder) made the second appearance of his rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Columbus, recording one out while giving up two earned runs on zero hits and two walks.

Advice: Morgan pitched a clean inning in his first rehab outing for Columbus on Saturday, but he couldn't replicate that success Tuesday. Assuming the right-hander didn't experience any setbacks with his inflamed shoulder, however, he should be on track to return from the 15-day injured list either this week or next. • Clears waivers
The Guardians outrighted Beede to Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday.

Advice: After Cleveland designated him for assignment Friday and removed him from its 40-man roster, Beede will end up sticking around in the organization. The right-hander earned a spot in the Guardians' Opening Day bullpen but produced an ugly 8.36 ERA and 1.79 WHIP over 14 innings before getting demoted. Rotowire.com 53 minutes ago

  • Cut loose by Halos
The Angels released Kristofak on Tuesday.

Advice: Kristofak's release came just over a week after he was called up from Triple-A Salt Lake for his MLB debut. He gave up two unearned runs over two innings in his lone relief appearance for the Angels before getting moved off the 40-man roster last Wednesday. After Kristofak cleared waivers, the Angels will now give the 26-year-old the opportunity to find employment elsewhere rather than outrighting him to Salt Lake. Rotowire.com Today, 8:04 am
  • Sent back to minors
The Mets optioned Sulser to Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

Advice: He's clearing out to make room on the roster for Yohan Ramirez, who was claimed off waivers. Sulser holds a 9.64 ERA and 7:3 K:BB across 4.2 relief innings during his time with the Mets this season. Rotowire.com Today, 7:11 am
