      Advice: Arizona manager Torey Lovullo tweaked the lineup against a left-handed starter, dropping Corbin Carroll to eighth and moving Moreno up the order. The manager told Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports that Carroll is expected to slide down the order against lefties beyond Monday's game.       Advice: Gallen appears to have his sights set on returning from the injured list when first eligible after being diagnosed with a right hamstring strain Friday. This will be a strong first step toward meeting that goal, and he should be cleared to resume mound work quickly considering he last threw off a mound Thursday.       Blue Jays manager John Schneider said Romano received an anti-inflammatory injection for his right elbow Sunday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

      Advice: Romano will be shut down for 3-to-5 days before planning to resume a throwing program later this week. The reliever received a similar injection for the same injury back in late March and wound up missing about three weeks of action, although it's not clear whether a similar timetable is expected this time around.       Zach Eflin (back) threw a 40-pitch bullpen session on Sunday without any issues and afterwards declared himself “ready to go”.

      Advice: The 30-year-old right-hander is expected to rejoin the Rays’ rotation this week, perhaps on Wednesday against the Marlins in Miami.       Advice: Sunday's session was Eflin's second bullpen in the last four days. He threw two simulated innings and came away feeling good. The Rays haven't confirmed a date for Eflin's return from the 15-day injured list, but he could be activated as soon as Wednesday to start in the Rays' series finale in Miami.       Stott went 1-for-4 with two RBI, two stolen bases and one walk in Sunday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Cardinals.

      Advice: Stott has had trouble getting on base lately -- he's 5-for-44 (.114) with two walks over his last 12 games -- but he's managed to steal four bases in that span. He played a more noticeable role Sunday with a two-run single to tie the game at 4-4 in the fifth inning. Those RBI were his first since May 21.       Advice: Chourio belted a three-run shot during Milwaukee's four-run second inning. It was his first long ball since May 15, snapping a 12-game drought.
