    • Remains out of lineup
Tucker (lower leg) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Cardinals.

Advice: Tucker had to exit Monday's game against the Cardinals after fouling a ball off his right shin and has now missed two straight starts. The Astros are idle Thursday, so Tucker could have a shot to be back in action Friday when the club takes on the Angels. Trey Cabbage will cover right field Wednesday. • Clutch homer Tuesday
Bohm went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Brewers in 10 innings.

Advice: Bohm got the Phillies on the board in the eighth inning, leading off the frame with a 420-foot blast off Elvis Peguero to tie the game 1-1. It's the first homer since May 19 for Bohm -- he's gone just 11-for-57 (.193) since then following a red-hot start to the season. Overall, the 27-year-old third baseman is slashing .296/.350/.481 with six homers, 50 RBI, 29 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases across 61 games this season. Rotowire.com 7 minutes ago

    • Pops fifth homer
Torres went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Twins.

Advice: He took Bailey Ober deep in the second inning to get the Yankees on the board, giving Torres his fifth long ball of the year. The second baseman has hit safely in five straight games and 10 of the last 11 as he shows signs of emerging from his season-long slump -- over that 11-game stretch he's slashing .297/.372/.514 with two doubles and two homers. • Will be activated Wednesday
Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow confirmed that O'Neill (knee) will be activated from the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: O'Neill was hitless in a rehab game with Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, but the most important thing is he came out of the contest with no concerns about his right knee, clearing the way for his return from the IL. It was just a minimum 10-day absence for O'Neill. Rotowire.com 11 minutes ago

    • Crosses plate three times Tuesday
Winker went 1-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and three runs scored in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Mets.

Advice: The steal actually came on a botched pickoff, as Mets starter David Peterson had Winker dead to rights but Pete Alonso couldn't handle the pitcher's throw to first. It still goes into the books as Winker's 11th stolen base of the season, an incredible number considering he came into the year just 3-for-6 on the basepaths over 610 career big-league games. The 30-year-old outfielder is also locked in at the plate right now, batting .343 (12-for-35) with a .429 OBP over the last 11 contests, but his only extra-base hit among those dozen knocks is a double. • On base four times in return
Young went 3-for-3 with a walk and two RBI in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Mets.

Advice: The center fielder had missed the prior two games due to swelling in his throwing hand, but Young was the Nationals' most effective offensive weapon in his return, collecting half of the team's six hits on the night. The 24-year-old offers basically no power -- his last extra-base hit was a double on May 19 -- but through 49 games this season he's batting .282 with 17 steals, 25 runs and 16 RBI. • Sitting out Wednesday
Murphy (elbow) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Boston.

Advice: Murphy departed Tuesday's 8-3 win after being struck on the right elbow by a pitch. X-rays came back negative, and Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the swelling on the elbow has mostly subsided. Murphy could be ready to go as soon as Thursday, but Travis d'Arnaud will fill in at catcher for Atlanta on Wednesday. Rotowire.com 34 minutes ago

    • Slugs 14th homer
Alonso went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Nationals.

Advice: The first baseman took Washington closer Kyle Finnegan deep to left field in the ninth inning to give the Mets an insurance run. Alonso's racked up seven hits, including three doubles and two homers, over the last six games, and since May 7 he's slashing .279/.330/.548 in 26 contests with six of his 14 long balls and 15 of his 31 RBI on the season. • On base three times
Rengifo went 2-for-3 with a walk, a steal and an RBI in Tuesday's win over the Padres.

Advice: Rengifo plated the Angels first run with a base hit in the third and wound up being stranded on second after notching his 14th steal and second in as many games. He now has at least a hit in four straight games and is slashing .390/.419/.512 with three RBI, eight runs and a 2:4 BB:K in 43 plate appearances since May 24. Rotowire.com 41 minutes ago
