    • Josh Naylor belts 11th homer Saturday in loss
Josh Naylor clobbered his 11th round-tripper of the season on Saturday in the Guardians’ 3-1 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Naylor’s fourth-inning solo shot off White Sox starter Michael Clevinger represented Cleveland’s lone tally in a low-scoring tractor pull at Guaranteed Rate Field. The 26-year-old emerging fantasy force is already on the verge of eclipsing the 20-homer mark for the first time in his career and seems primed to establish new career-high marks across the board this season. • Collects seventh save
Bednar gave up a run on two hits in the ninth inning Saturday to record his seventh save of the season in a 10-9 win over the Cubs.

Advice: The right-hander made things interesting, giving up back-to-back hits to begin the ninth and allowing the tying run to get to third base with two outs, but Bednar escaped the jam. He's converted his last six save chances but has been volatile while doing it, getting tagged for runs in five of 11 appearances over that stretch while posting an 8.38 ERA and 12:3 K:BB through 9.2 innings. Bednar still has a grip on the Pirates' closer role and there is incentive to keep him in the ninth inning and build his trade value. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:31 pm
    • Continues power surge
Naylor went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Saturday in a loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Naylor produced Cleveland's only run of the contest with a fourth-inning solo blast to left field. The first baseman has gone deep four times over his past seven games to push his season total to 11 long balls, tied for fourth most in the majors. Naylor is also tied for seventh in the league with 30 RBI while slashing .275/.358/.565 and registering an impressive 16:20 BB:K. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:21 pm
    • Nails down sixth save
Romano gave up a hit and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday to record his sixth save of the season in a 10-8 win over the Twins.

Advice: The right-hander stayed perfect in save situations on the season, but Saturday's performance was only the fifth time in nine appearances that Romano has avoided getting tagged with a run. His 4.15 ERA and 1.38 WHIP are well off from his usual standards, but his 8:2 K:BB through 8.2 innings isn't far from the mark, and his stuff appears to be fine -- he topped out at 99 mph with his fastball. • David Bednar allows run, still picks up save
David Bednar picked up a save despite allowing a run against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: Bednar continues to pitch at a shaky level, but at least he was able to procure a save; his seventh of the season. The run allowed sees his ERA still sit at an unhealthy 9.64, and fantasy managers have a right to be a little discouraged by how Bednar has pitched over this first month-plus of the season. • Plates four runs
Stott went 2-for-5 with four RBI in Saturday's 8-3 victory over the Marlins.

Advice: Stott's bases-clearing triple in the sixth inning put the Phillies ahead for what turned out to be for good. He also added an RBI single in the eighth. It's the second four-RBI game for Stott over his last 10 contests, and he's batting .375 with a couple homers and 13 RBI over that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:34 pm
    • Aiming to play Monday or Tuesday
Schwarber (back) is hoping to return to the lineup Monday or Tuesday versus the Mets, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Advice: Schwarber exited Friday's game and missed Saturday's contest with a sore back. It sounds like he'll sit out Sunday, as well, but he seems to be trending in the right direction. The Phillies are planning to give Bryce Harper at day at designated hitter Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:59 pm
    • Kyle Schwarber (back) hoping to return on Monday
Kyle Schwarber (back) is hopeful to return to the Phillies’ starting lineup on Monday.

Advice: The 31-year-old slugger was lifted from Friday’s game due to soreness in his back and was held out on Saturday as a precautionary measure. It sounds like he’ll be sitting on Sunday as well. That will allow Bryce Harper to get a partial day off by serving as the team’s designated hitter. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:44 pm
    • Rafael Devers drives in go-ahead runs in eighth
Rafael Devers hit a two-run double to help the Red Sox to a 4-2 win over the Nationals on Saturday.

Advice: Devers turned a 2-2 game into a 4-2 lead for the Red Sox with a two-run double in the eighth. The 27-year-old third baseman also singled, and the pair of hits ups his line to .288/.403/.481 with 14 RBI. The power leaves a bit to be desired — if only because of lofty expectations — but Devers’ track-record suggests he’ll be among the best at his position again in 2024. Even if he maintained those numbers fantasy managers wouldn’t complain all that much. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:28 pm
