    • Cody Bradford (back) moved to 60-day IL
Rangers transferred LHP Cody Bradford (back) to the 60-day IL.

Advice: The team needed space on the 40-man roster to call up Jesus Tinoco with Jon Gray (groin) going on the IL. Considering the Rangers are also expecting to get back Max Scherzer, Tyler Mahle, and Jacob deGrom at some point over the summer, Bradford may not have a spot in the rotation when he is eventually healthy enough to pitch. He can be cut in all redraft fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:56 am

    • Shifted to 60-day IL
The Rangers transferred Bradford (ribs) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Thursday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: The transaction clears a spot on the 40-man roster for right-hander Jesus Tinoco, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Round Rock. Bradford recently experienced a setback with his ribs injury and now won't be eligible to return for several weeks. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:31 am

    • Notches seventh save
Megill gave up a hit and struck out three in a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday to record his seventh save of the season in a 7-5 win over the Marlins.

Advice: After blowing his first save of the season the night before, Megill bounced back and fired 11 of 14 pitches for strikes to get the job done, with five of his fastballs clocking in at 99 mph or higher. The right-hander sports a 1.98 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 17:3 K:BB through 13.2 innings this season, and with Devin Williams (back) just now beginning to toss a baseball, Megill figures to handle closing duties with Milwaukee for at least another couple months. • Trevor Megill rebounds with save Tuesday vs. Fish
Trevor Megill fired a scoreless ninth inning on Tuesday against the Marlins to record his seventh save of the season.

Advice: Megill got the call to protect a two-run lead in the final frame and needed just 14 pitches (11 strikes) to slam the door. It was a much-needed bounce-back after suffering his first blown save of the season during Monday’s series opener at loan Depot park. The 30-year-old righty has converted seven of his eight save chances so far filling in for an injured Devin Williams. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:56 pm

    • Clase notches league-leading 15th save
Emmanuel Clase pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn a save in the Guardians’ 7-6 win over the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Clase allowed one hit and didn’t register a strikeout, but he got the job done for his league-leading 15th save. With a 0.36 ERA to go along with it, anybody who used an early-round draft pick on Clase is feeling pretty good about that decision right now. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:44 pm
    • Up to 15 saves
Clase earned the save in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Mets, working around a hit in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Clase's now pitched three consecutive days while locking down saves in back-to-back outings. He'd allow a one-out single to Francisco Lindor on Tuesday before inducing a game-ending double play off the bat of Pete Alonso. Clase lowered his ERA to a pristine 0.36 with a 0.59 WHIP and 24:2 K:BB across 25.1 innings, and he's now converted a league-leading 15 saves in 18 opportunities. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 6:08 pm
    • Cruises to 14th save
Clase earned a save against the Mets on Monday, retiring all three batters he faced in the ninth inning.

Advice: Clase inherited a two-run lead when he entered in the ninth frame and made quick work of New York, needing just 12 pitches to set down the side in order. The right-hander has yielded just one earned run all season, giving him a sparkling 0.37 ERA through 24.1 frames. Clase has posted an outstanding 24:2 K:BB and is tied for first in the majors with 14 saves. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:57 pm
    • Blows save against Miami
Megill blew the save in Monday's loss to the Marlins. He allowed one run on two hits and no walks over one inning while striking out one.

Advice: Megill gathered the first two outs of the ninth inning on three pitches before yielding a single to Nick Gordon. Gordon promptly stole second and then was subsequently driven home via an Otto Lopez single to tie the game. This is Megill's first blown save of the season, so he should maintain his role as the Milwaukee closer. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:12 pm

    • Trevor Megill takes blown save Monday vs. Marlins
Trevor Megill allowed one run in the ninth inning on Monday against the Marlins in a blown save.

Advice: Megill got the call to protect a one-run lead in the ninth inning and wound up surrendering a game-tying single to Otto Lopez with two outs in the frame. It was only his first blown save of the season in seven opportunities. The 30-year-old righty figures to continue serving as Milwaukee’s primary stopper until Devin Williams is ready to return sometime around midseason. Rotoworld Monday, 7:03 pm
