    Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Padres.

    Advice: With two men on in the first inning, Alonso took Dylan Cease deep for this 15th homer this season. He later added a two-run single as part of a four-run eighth to give him a season-high five RBI for the game. This one had to feel good for Alonso, as he broke out of a small slump where he only had five hits and one RBI over his last eight games.   • Pete Alonso paces Mets with five RBI
    Pete Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in the Mets’ 11-6 win over the Padres on Sunday.

    Advice: Alonso needed a game like this after a rough few weeks. The five RBI matched his total for the entire month of June entering play Sunday and ninth time in his career he’s driven in at least five runs in a single game. The Mets seem to finally be comfortable with their new lineup configuration with Alonso hitting clean-up behind Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, and J.D.     Luis Arraez went 2-for-5 with a double on Sunday against the Mets.

  • Alec Bohm with three more hits Sunday
    Alec Bohm went 3-for-4 with a double, walk, and two runs batted in on Sunday against the Orioles.

    Advice: April Bohm is back. He had eight hits and five RBI this weekend in Baltimore without striking out as he continues in what’s been a true breakout season for the third basemen. His 57 RBI are second most in the National League, behind only Marcell Ozuna. Rotoworld Today, 1:45 pm

  • Vlad Jr. has three-hit game in win Sunday
    Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 3-for-4 with a walk and a run scored against the Guardians on Sunday.



    Advice: Guerrero was 1-for-17 (.059) with one walk in his last five games. While the three hits were good to see, his power is still a concern. Guerrero’s .122 ISO is a career-low and with seven home runs so far he’s going to have to pick up the pace to even repeat the 26 home runs he hit last season.

    Sheets is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

    Advice: With southpaw Jordan Montgomery on the hill for the Diamondbacks, the lefty-hitting Sheets will retreat to the bench. Korey Lee will get a day off of catching duties and will serve as Chicago's designated hitter in Sheets' stead. Though he remains the White Sox's preferred DH against right-handed pitching for now, Sheets could lose out on regular playing time during the upcoming week, when Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) will likely come off the injured list.
