    Advice: Campusano capped off a six-run sixth inning for the Padres with his bases-clearing double. It would end up being the deciding factor in the victory. While he has just five hits over his last seven games, three of them went for extra bases, resulting in eight RBI over that span.   • Bryse Wilson throws six scoreless innings in no-decision
    Bryse Wilson didn’t allow a run and stuck out six batters in six innings of work against the Royals on Monday.

    Advice: Impressive. Prior to April 17, Wilson hadn’t made a start in the majors since September 2022. Since then, the 26-year-old has made four starts for Milwaukee and has allowed three total runs in those 20 innings. As a reliever? He’s allowed five earned runs across 10 innings this season. The move seems to be the right one for Milwaukee, however they’ll need to give him some run support if he’s to pick up some wins.   • Wins with scoreless outing
    Darvish (2-1) yielded three hits and a walk over five shutout frames Monday, striking out five and earning a win over the Cubs.

    Advice: Darvish scattered baserunners throughout his outing but ultimately kept the Cubs quiet for five innings. He was 0-1 with a 4.18 ERA before a brief stint on the injured list. Since returning, he's fired 10 shutout frames and dropped that number to 2.94 across seven starts. Darvish matched his season best with 15 swinging strikes, eight of which came via the slider.     Thielbar struck out two batters in a scoreless inning and earned a save over the Mariners on Monday.

    Advice: Thielbar faced the heart of Seattle's lineup after Jhoan Duran pitched a perfect eighth inning. It was Thielbar's third save of the year and first since April 29. He lowered his ERA to 6.14 with a 9:3 K:BB through 7.1 innings. Duran should still see most of the save chances in Minnesota but the team may elect for more of a committee approach for now.     Advice: Duran was called upon to face the Mariners' 9-1-2 hitters in a 3-1 contest. After earning a save in each of his first two appearances of 2024, he's picked up a hold in his last two games. Duran is the primary closing option in Minnesota but it appears there may be more of a committee than expected. Last season, he converted 27 of 32 saves and picked up only one hold.     Castillo (3-5) yielded three runs on three hits over 6.2 innings Monday, striking out seven and taking a loss against the Twins.

    Advice: Castillo fired four shutout frames before the Twins broke the scoreless tie in the fifth inning. He later was charged with two more runs in the seventh. Entering Monday's start, Castillo had turned in four straight outings with two or fewer earned runs allowed. He's factored into the decision in each of his eight starts and snapped his three-game winning streak Monday. Despite the up-and-down start to his season, Castillo has registered a solid 3.54 ERA with a 56:11 K:BB through 48.1 innings.     Woods Richardson allowed a hit and a walk over six shutout frames in a no-decision Monday. He struck out eight during the win over Seattle.

    Advice: Woods Richardson struck out the first four batters he faced and five of the first six through two perfect frames. Only one Mariner reached scoring position against him as he turned in the best outing of his MLB career. The 23-year-old righty generated 10 whiffs, matching his season high. It was the second time he has failed to generate a strikeout in a start during his eight-year career -- first done Sept. 24, 2023 against Boston.
