    Blue Jays activated RHP Yariel Rodriguez from the 15-day injured list.

    Advice: Rodriguez will start Friday night’s game against the Guardians. He made four starts with Toronto earlier this season and had a 4.11 ERA and 1.76 WHIP.     Advice: The right-hander has been on the shelf since late April due to thoracic spine inflammation, but he'll re-enter Toronto's rotation for Friday's series opener in Cleveland. Rodriguez built up to 79 pitches in his final rehab outing and should be able to handle a full starting workload. However, the Blue Jays were handling the 27-year-old's workload carefully prior to the injury, so it's possible Rodriguez is utilized in conjunction with Bowden Francis, who has been handling a bulk-relief role. The 23-year-old's luck would run out in the fifth, however, when Willy Adames chased him from the game with a two-run shot.     Advice: Pallante cruised through the first two innings before failing to retire four of the first five batters he faced in the third, leading to three runs coming home for San Francisco. The right-hander would get tagged for another two runs in the sixth, marking the second time in his last four that he's coughed up at least five runs. Pallante also matched his season high with three walks and failed to make it through six innings for the fourth-consecutive outing.
