• Tallies three hits in loss
Abrams went 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI in Saturday's extra-inning loss to Philadelphia.

Advice: Abrams had been in a minor rut coming into Saturday, going 1-for-13 over his previous four games. He broke the skid with his first three-hit performance since April 23 while collecting his first RBI since May 8. Abrams' production has fallen off in May -- he's batting .230 with a 1:14 BB:K this month -- but he's still carrying a solid .271/.330/.494 slash line with seven homers, 21 RBI, 28 runs and eight stolen bases on the season. • Walks it off with sac fly
Harper went 1-for-4 with a run, an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-3 extra-inning win against Washington.

Advice: Harper singled, stole a base and came home on a double-play groundout in the fourth inning for Philadelphia's first run. He was retired his next two times at the plate before driving home the winning run with a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th frame. Harper is batting .321 with four homers, 15 RBI, 14 runs and two stolen bases through 15 contests in May. Rotowire.com 23 minutes ago

  • Comes through with clutch homer
Clemens went 2-for-2 with a solo home run Saturday in a 4-3 extra-inning victory over Washington.

Advice: Clemens came on as a pinch hitter for Edmundo Sosa in the seventh inning and singled in his first at-bat. His second time up to the plate was much more dramatic, as he belted a game-tying solo shot to center field with two outs in the bottom of the ninth frame. Clemens' playing time has been sporadic, but he's been productive when given an opportunity, as he's slashing .304/.333/.826 with three homers and eight RBI over just 24 plate appearances. • Blows save, takes loss Saturday
Finnegan (1-3) took the loss and blew a save against the Phillies on Saturday, allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit and one walk over 1.2 innings.

Advice: Finnegan was called upon to protect a one-run lead in the bottom of the ninth inning and got two outs before serving up a game-tying solo homer to Kody Clemens. The contest went into an extra frame, and after Washington failed to score in the top of the 10th, Finnegan was tagged with the loss when Bryce Harper plated the automatic runner on a sacrifice fly. The blown save was just the second for Finnegan this year, with the other coming all the way back on March 31. The right-hander has been one of the best closers in the league this season with 13 saves along with a 1.89 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 17:9 K:BB over 19 frames. Rotowire.com 42 minutes ago
  • Fires second straight quality start
Gore allowed two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out three batters over 6.1 innings in a no-decision against Philadelphia on Saturday.

Advice: Gore carried a one-run lead into the seventh inning but was pulled after Bryson Stott tagged him for a one-out, game-tying solo homer. Despite that disappointing exit, this was a positive overall outing for the lefty hurler, and he's now fired back-to-back quality starts for the first time this season. Gore didn't have the strikeout stuff Saturday that he had his previous time out, when he fanned nine Red Sox batters over six frames, but Gore did established a season-high mark with his 6.1 frames. He'll look to keep rolling in his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to come at home against Seattle. Rotowire.com 49 minutes ago

  • Hurls quality start Saturday
Sanchez allowed two runs on eight hits and no walks while striking out eight batters over seven innings in a no-decision against Washington on Saturday.

Advice: Sanchez fell behind when he gave up a first-inning run, but he allowed only one more score the rest of the way. The left-hander fanned eight batters -- his highest mark over his past five outings -- and finished with his fourth quality start of the campaign. Sanchez has been a solid fifth starter for the Phillies this season, registering a 3.31 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 47:18 K:BB over 49 innings. Rotowire.com 59 minutes ago
  • Wenceel Perez drives in four runs to lead Tigers
Wenceel Perez smacked a pair of triples and drove in four runs on Saturday night, leading the Tigers to a come-from-behind 8-3 victory over the Diamondbacks in Arizona.

Advice: The 24-year-old outfielder walloped a two-out triple off of Zac Gallen in the opening inning, but was left stranded at third. He then cleared the bases with a two-out, three-run triple off of Joe Mantiply in the seventh that gave the Tigers their first lead of the day. He also tacked on a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning. Perez has been a revelation for the Tigers so far this season, slashing .300/.373/.533 with three homers, 12 RBI and three stolen bases in his first 102 plate appearances at the big league level. • Javier Báez has four hits as Tigers top D’Backs
Javier Báez went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles, two runs scored and an RBI on Saturday night as the Tigers triumphed over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The 31-year-old shortstop got the Tigers on the board with a two-out RBI double in the seventh inning that plated Gio Urshela. He was the first of seven straight hitters to reach with two outs in the inning, and he came around to score himself on an RBI knock off the bat of Carson Kelly. He also singled and scored on a sacrifice fly in the eighth. Even with the four-hit night though, he’s still slashing a cringe-inducing .207/.236/.289 with just one homer, 19 RBI and six stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Today, 8:04 pm

  • Gio Urshela has three hits in victory over D’Backs
Gio Urshela went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and an RBI in a lopsided victory over the Diamondbacks on Saturday night in Arizona.

Advice: Urshela started a six-run uprising in the seventh inning with a leadoff double off of Zac Gallen. He scored the team’s first run on an RBI double off the bat of Javier Báez. The 32-year-old infielder then came to bat again later in the inning and delivered an RBI single that increased the Tigers’ lead to 6-2. With his three-hit evening, Urshela is now hitting .290/.300/.348 with zero homers and seven RBI in 71 plate appearances on the year. Rotoworld Today, 8:04 pm
