    Shelby Miller (elbow) will make a minor league rehab appearance on Tuesday for Triple-A Toledo.

    Advice: Miller has been on the shelf since mid-May recovering from a hydro dissection procedure to alleviate nerve inflammation in his right elbow.     MLB.com’s John Denton reports Andre Pallante will start on Wednesday against the Reds.

    Advice: It’ll be Pallante’s first start of the year just a few days after being brought back from Triple-A Memphis. He’s presumably getting the ball since Matthew Liberatore made a relief appearance during Monday’s series opener against the Reds. The 25-year-old righty hasn’t made an appearance as a traditional starter since the 2022 campaign. There’s limited fantasy appeal here since he’s unlikely to work too deep into the contest.     Advice: Pallante will make his first big-league start since 2022 on Wednesday as the Cardinals deal with a slew of injuries to their pitching staff.     Advice: Junis has resumed his throwing program after his rehab from a right shoulder impingement was derailed by a ball that struck him in the head during batting practice April 22. The right-hander was shifted from the 15-day IL to the 60-day IL shortly after the incident and is on schedule for a return sometime in June.
