Jones went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Friday against the Nationals.

Advice: Jones missed consecutive games with an illness but returned to the lineup to hit sixth Friday. He tallied his second home run of the season and has seven hits across 18 at-bats with only three strikeouts since being activated from the injured list June 14. Rotowire.com 41 minutes ago

  • Hits second homer
Arraez went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 9-5 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Arraez entered Friday with just four hits over his last six games, an unusual lack of production for the contact-heavy infielder. He made an impact with his lone knock Friday, sparking the Padres' comeback push with a fifth-inning blast. Over 76 games between the Padres and the Marlins this year, he's slashing .314/.349/.385 with two homers, 21 RBI, 43 runs scored, 15 doubles, a triple and three stolen bases. He's the only player in the majors with over 100 hits so far in 2024, but much of that has been his usual empty average, as he offers little in the way of power or speed and won't generate many RBI as a leadoff hitter. • Perfect at plate Friday
Cronenworth went 5-for-5 with a solo home run, a double, two RBI and four runs scored in Friday's 9-5 win over the Brewers.

Advice: This was Cronenworth's first five-hit game. He's been pretty good lately with five multi-hit efforts over his last 13 contests, going 16-for-50 (.320) in that span. The infielder's big game lifted his slashing line to .266/.330/.464 with 12 homers, 49 RBI, 36 runs scored, 17 doubles and one stolen base over 75 contests this season. • Jeimer Candelario homers twice to lead Reds
Jeimer Candelario launched a pair of solo homers in leading the Reds to a 5-2 win over the Red Sox on Friday.

Advice: Remember when Candelario was having a bad season? He’s hit eight homers, knocked in 17 runs and even stolen three bases this month to push his season line up to .255/.310/.506. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:41 pm

  • Luis Arraez golfs out homer in win over Brewers
Luis Arraez hit a two-run homer against the Brewers on Friday in a win for the Padres.

Advice: Arraez is not known for his power, but the 27-year-old was able to golf out a pitch down and in for his second homer of the season. The second baseman has hit .324 since being traded to San Diego with 16 RBI and three stolen bases in five attempts over 185 at-bats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:00 pm

  • Jake Cronenworth has five-hit day in win over MIL
Jake Cronenworth went 5-for-5 with a homer, four runs scored and a stolen base in a 9-5 win over the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: Cronenworth and Manny Machado combined for nine hits on Friday, which is a large number. The infielder hit his 12th homer of the season in the sixth off Colin Rea. The five knocks for Cronenworth give him seven in the last two games, and he’s seen his average rise from .251 to .266. The 30-year-old has been streaky for the majority of his career, and he appears to be on the right side of that right now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:00 pm
  • Knocks three hits
Lowe went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Friday's win over Kansas City.

Advice: Lowe did most of his damage in the sixth inning when he hit a ground-rule double and came around to score the go-ahead run. He entered Friday's game in an 8-for-42 (.190) slump over 12 appearances since his last multi-hit performance June 5. He hit .343 through 18 games to begin his 2024 campaign but has since gone 25-for-118 (.212). For the season, Lowe is slashing .259/.352/.346 with 12 extra-base hits and 21 runs scored. • Nathaniel Lowe has three hits in win over Royals
Nathaniel Lowe went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored as the Rangers defeated the Royals in Arlington.

Advice: Lowe singled to help along a Rangers’ rally in the fourth inning, but he was ultimately cut down at the plate attempting to score. The 28-year-old first baseman then doubled in the sixth inning and scored the go-ahead run on a fielder’s choice off the bat of Jonah Heim. With his three-hit attack, Lowe is now slashing .259/.352/.346 with just two homers, 21 RBI and one stolen base on the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:49 pm
  • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. homers in loss
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-4 with a solo home run on Friday in a loss to the Guardians

Advice: This Blue Jays offense is a disaster. Guerrero’s solo shot was their only glimmer of offense before they loaded the bases in the ninth inning. The home run was Guerrero’s eighth, a very disappointing number as we near the midway point of the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:50 pm
