    • George Springer returns from illness Wednesday
George Springer is back in right field for Wednesday’s game against the Orioles.

Advice: Springer wasn’t going to start Tuesday, but that game was rained out. He missed three of the previous four games due to an illness. Rotoworld 55 minutes ago
    • Returns to lineup
Springer (illness) will start in right field and bat leadoff in Wednesday's game in Baltimore.

Advice: Springer has been ill and was set to sit out Tuesday for the fourth time in five games before that game was rained out, but he's feeling well enough to rejoin the starting nine Wednesday. The 34-year-old enters play Wednesday slashing just .140/.170/.160 with a 32.1 percent strikeout rate since April 25. Rotowire.com Today, 7:21 am
    • Plates three runs in win
Hernandez went 2-for-5 with a triple, a double, three RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 10-2 win over the Giants.

Advice: Hernandez got his night going with a run scoring double in the fourth and then capped things off by driving in two more with a triple in the ninth. It was his first triple of the season and his third time with multiple extra-base hits. He's been providing some clutch hitting as of late with 10 RBI over his last six games and now sits at third in the majors with 36 RBI for the season. The 31-year-old is slashing .249/.310/.497 with 11 homers, 28 runs and a 14:56 BB:K in 184 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:18 am
    • Andy Pages takes golden sombrero in victory
Andy Pages went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts while the rest of the Dodgers were scoring 10 runs Tuesday against the Giants.

Advice: Jason Heyward has started a rehab assignment, so this is a really bad time for Pages to go cold. He seems like the more interesting of those two players at this point, but the Dodgers still might send him down if they think Heyward can make at least a modest contribution. • George Springer (illness) out again on Tuesday
George Springer (illness) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Orioles.

Advice: Springer is sitting out for the second straight contest and fourth time in the last five contests due to an ongoing viral illness. It’ll be on-base machine Davis Schneider, who also boasts the fifth-best barrel percentage in baseball this season, taking over the leadoff spot in his continued absence. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:18 pm
    • Sitting again Tuesday
Springer (illness) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game at Baltimore.

Advice: Springer returned to action Sunday after missing two games with an illness, and he's out of the lineup again Tuesday for the second straight day. It's unclear if he's expected to be back in action for Wednesday's series finale. Cavan Biggio is starting in right field versus the Orioles. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:15 pm
    • On bench Tuesday
Carpenter is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: The left-handed Carpenter will avoid a matchup with southpaw Ryan Weathers on Tuesday, as Wenceel Perez, Matt Vierling and Mark Canha will start across the outfield. Carpenter has hit safely in five straight games, batting 7-for-18 (.389) with two homers and five runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:05 pm

    • Teoscar Hernández goes 0-for-5 against Giants
Teoscar Hernández finished 0-for-5 with three strikeouts against the Giants on Monday.

Advice: Hernández is having a terrific fantasy campaign with his 11 homers and 33 RBI in 43 games, but the .244 average, .307 OBP and 30.6% strikeout rate aren’t exactly encouraging. It’s a good thing he plays for the Dodgers, because Statcast thinks he’d have fewer homers hitting anywhere else and he also probably wouldn’t be batting with as many runners on base. • Still feeling ill
Manager John Schneider said Monday that Springer is out of the lineup for the Blue Jays' series opener in Baltimore because he's still feeling sick, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: After sitting out Friday and Saturday due to the ailment, Springer returned to the lineup for Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Twins and played nine innings in right field while going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. Despite playing a full game, Springer apparently hasn't completely shaken the illness, so he'll be back on the bench Monday. A bug seems to be making its way around the clubhouse, as Kevin Kiermaier and Justin Turner are out of the lineup for the fourth and second consecutive games, respectively, due to illnesses of their own.
